NIGERIAN SCAMMERS ... BEWARE!!

These Nigerian Scammers are the most evil individuals, with hearts belonging to satan.
Since being hit by one myself,  I researched to find out more about them!!










I must say here, there are good and bad eggs in every race.
God Bless the good.
Shame, on the bad. God will deal with them!





And, even though they are called Nigerian Scammers, many fool others in believing they are from other countries of the world.  
The one who attacked me, got into my Facebook and my email.
He (? a man) even spoke via messenger to one of my friends. 
His place of origin, supposedly England. 
Thank God, my friend knew I would never email asking anyone for money!!
I would rather wash dishes!!

How do I know he was from Nigeria??
Facebook showed me a map of the world, asking if I was located here....
Pin pointing,  NIGERIA!!

Watch out for E-Bay!!!
This is also a popular target.
If someone is buying off you.
Don't you...send any money for any reason!!!


MEN and WOMAN BEWARE of On-Line dating Scams.
Many of these are also from Nigeria.

 Romance Scammers
Seated waiting for a doctors appointment I read the true story of a woman in Australia who had the following experience.
The scammer, told her, he was from Milwaukee U.S.A.
His photo looked so nice... a regular bloke.
When he finally phoned her, his accent was American, and she believed all he told her.
He was very clever!!
Over time, for one thing or another, she handed over almost $100.000.
She even mortgaging her home.

INCREDIBLE you say?  Well, they are VERY convincing, sweet sounding and lovable. 

There is no way anyone so NICE could be evil,....or so you think. 


Dating Scammer Sign's To Beware of:
1. They often use stolen credit cards.
Their on-line profile may suddenly disappear when the dating site makes the discovery.
2. Sob stories... Scammers will mention a loved ones death or a sick child/parent, to pull at your heart strings.
3. Scammers will make excuses NOT to use a webcam. 
4. They try to con you out of money. 
DO NOT SEND!! they usually use wire transfer so it cannot be traced.

5. Check out the International Calling Code for any phone number you are sent!

Great Barrier Reef

Happiness is:  Looking at God's Glorious Creation and appreciating our World.
There are many beautiful exciting places.
Clint took us back to The Smoky Mountains and Pigeon Forge on his Blog today.
So excellent!!!
Ray and I were married there.

So now its my turn to share.....
The amazing Great Barrier Reef, on the top of Queensland.
Where I live is situated just below the Barrier Reef line on the map.
This Reef runs 2,000 kilometres or 1,250 miles...
This a natural wonder and marine paradise.
The first time I sighted it from a plane,  I could not believe the immense beauty.


Can you see the Heart of Gods Love??? It's real!
If you can snorkel you enter another world. 
One that goes back through time.
No, your not on the moon.
You travel out to the pontoon and look into the ocean from glass bottomed boats.

There is something about watching fish swim. 
It calms and relaxes.

Lost but not forsaken.

I ask all my friends to forgive me at the moment, because I feel so lost.
I seem to forget much of what I am suppose to do.

My daughter Daniella and her daughter Shiarn have been staying over and keeping me company.
In Daniella's Bible she carries photos of her children.
It made me feel so sad to see a picture of her third son Matteo, who only lived nine days.
He died on  Christmas eve, 1998.
What a hard time, on a holiday season,  to say goodbye to a little one.
Today as we sat and talked I asked her what became of his ashes??
"They are in the top of my wardrobe mum," she told me.
"One day they'll be buried with me."

She spoke so naturally.... Oh how my heart went out to her.
As a mother, I want to protect her from hurts.
I think of the many times she has moved house, and how often she must lovingly secured those remains..
She always remembers him and keeps him close.
Just as our Heaven Father does with all of us.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, 
neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, 
will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38-39

Stunned


Yesterday was an alarming day for me.
I drove myself some fifty kilometres to the hospital where I am due to enter in two weeks.
They are very thorougher in their pre-op education.
It's very strange being the patient instead of the nurse.
Being the one who needs help instead of the one giving it.
I was given another ECG, and... my silly heart is still in Bundle Branch Block.

Because of this, my anesthetist has decided a Spinal Block will be my safest form of anesthetic during the procedure.   I am to have a Total Left Knee Replacement.


I was so grateful that he was open to listening to my requests.
"No morphine for me please, I'd rather have fentanyl...."
There is nothing worse than having a patient who knows all the answers.
The Occupational Therapist came to assess my home for hidden dangers today.
Is my bed, seat and toilet high enough not to cause knee strain??
She was lovely, relaxed and re -assuring.
Next I go for a blood test for a group and hold, in case I need a blood transfusion.

I cannot say I am not a little stunned over the whole affair because I am.
We never understand anything until we experience it ourselves.
How many times have I comforted someone else getting ready for surgery..
This is not my first time to be the patient, yet usually I have colleagues working close by.

The one thing I do know is that, I am never alone... Jesus is always near.

I love His promise.
"NEVER WILL I LEAVE THEE.
NEVER WILL I FORSAKE THEE."

WAIT

How do you feel if you have to wait?
Can you???
I often have to wait on my husband Ray.
He will leave me sitting in the car saying, "I'll be back in a minute."
After half an hour he returns.

Does he ever wait for me?? No!!
He takes off and I end up waiting for him again.

We get tired waiting for Someone.
We get tired waiting for Something.
We HATE to WAIT!!


Yet God gives many wonderful promises and rewards about waiting.

Isaiah 40:31                                                                                                            

But those who wait on the LORD                                                                       

Shall renew their strength;                                                                                   

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,                                                             

They shall run and not be weary,                                                                          
 
They shall walk and not faint.

In learning to wait, we also learn Trust and Faith.

Our 'Mary Valley' sister church looks out over the hills.

We Wait for the return of Our Savour.
In that Wait, we need to renew our strength 
Not grow weiry, but keeping our hope and faith in Him.

HELP- I Need To Know??

In this picture my grandson son Izaiah asks my son Lee-Joel, his Papa, a question....

I have a question that I need to ask you, my Blogger friends....

Many of you will realise I spell differently to most of you...
Some of the differences are:
I may use an S instead of a Z.
I write centre instead of center.
Tyre instead of tire.
Kerb instead of curb..

Now the question?????
If you were reading a book by me....would you prefer it written in British/Australian English.
Or
American English?
 If you were to read a book about Australia, would you want that book to be in Australian English or American English???
Or wouldn't it matter at all??

You opinion is valuable, so please tell me.

Caloundra, Queensland

Sometimes you have to get away from it all.
Ray had a day out playing golf as a visitor at Pelican Waters golf resort.
This is the club of the 'Great White Shark' Greg Norman. 

I used to live and work at Caloundra, so Ray asked if I'd like to visit my old haunts while he played..
I only lived a ten minute walk from Dickie Beach, where dogs are allowed to frolic on the sand.

A mother prepares her children with wet suits for surfing. 
It's school holidays and mid winter but the day is too perfect to miss some fun.
The Pandansas Tree.
A sign informs  of rules which need to be observed.  Surf between the flags for safety.

 Most of our beaches have shark nets to ward off attack. 
Not all beaches allow dogs as apparently their smell is suppose to entice sharks. 
If a school of dolphins are present, you know your safe.. 

Another sign... Can dogs read I wonder?? 
My dogs think they are people. 
Well its a good place to lift your leg. 

Everyone is busy doing their own thing. Walking, fishing and surfing.
 

 It was nice to be back. I have many memories of here. Some good some sad..
It is a beautiful place to live.
Every night I fell asleep with the sound of waves crashing on the sand.
Every morning I wasn't working, I was walking and running along the shore.
For some reason, the pelicans don't visit here??

It was a beautiful day.
But I was glad to drive back home at the end of it..
OH, and Ray came second in A Division.

Bridge Building

I was amazed to see this bridge being constructed in China.
I suppose it is one way of getting from one place to another.


How safe does it look??

Many.... I for one, would never venture on this structure. 
And yet how many other risks do we take in life??
And how many do we take with death??

I have a faith in Jesus Christ.
From what I have learnt, he was the only God who came to earth and gave His life.
His Tomb is Empty.
Was he a risk taker?

He gave His life so that we may gain eternal life.
How many people believe this? 
For those who don't....  Where will they spend eternity?
Some believe in reincarnation?
I prefer the belief of a paradise in Heaven,  
than a continual return to sickness and sorrow on earth.

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.  
I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  
 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. 
They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
