Take a Gander in the Loo

Take a gander (look) what some lucky blighter found in the Loo..

I think this is one time I would agree with Gorges. Shoot first and ask questions later.

How would you like to get your bottom bitten by this bloke?
I have a habit of getting up at night and wandering half asleep to the Loo.
I never switch the lights on.....

I reckon I need to stop dreaming.

In Tennessee Ray once found a squirrel in the bowl.
He was sitting there, reading a magazine and he could hear scratching.
It wasn't until he flushed, that he saw the squirrel.
I took photos but I don't know where they are now?
It looked like a drowned rat.
Doning gloves, Ray picked it out and placed it onto a tree trunk.
It clung on stunned for yonks(ages)... Blimey(Yikes) not fair one bit..
                                                           And that's Fairdinkum mate (true).

Hillsong Photographer.

My daughter Femia used to be a Hillsong photographer in New South Wales..
Then she moved home to Queensland..
I had no idea just how many Album credits she was responsible for until two days ago,
So here I am to share her talents...
We should all be acknowledged when we use our gifts to the Glory of God.
Femia is the Proverbs 31 woman..
She cares well for her family.
She helps the needy.
Gives counsel to the downtrodden.
And I am proud to say, she is my daughter.

This is Femia ready for work.

And here is just a touch of some of her Hillsong photos.
She will probably tell me the pixels don't look good on these because I copied them.

This is her Ministry for the Lord.

Australian Day 26th Jan~ Song "I AM AUSTRALIAN"

On the 26th January we celebrate Australia Day down under.
We are a Continent, a Country and an Island.
And we are made up of many different nationalities.
Men and women who may not have wanted to leave their homeland,
but did, so that they could have a better life.
I am a third generation Australian on my maternal side.
I come from Welsh, then French stock.
On my paternal side I am a second generation Australian..
My father was English and his parents Scottish.
So I suppose I am a fruit cake.

I never realised what my country meant to me, until I went to live in America for three years.
Yes, we visited back here a couple of times, but I was homesick.
I think after my family, what I missed the most was the smell of eucalyptus, and those wonderful gum trees.
I missed the kookaburra laughing, and our beaches.... we have 11,000.
Captain Cook claimed Australia for England in 1770, although other explorers had visited before him.
If you listen to the song, you will hear that, we are one (all Ozzies) but we are many(a mixture of other lands). What makes a country and what makes a world? The people.
Lets live together in harmony and bless each other.

Life Changes

Ray and I have have recently been to New South Wales to visit my mother.
She is almost ninety four years old.
Her body is frail but her mind is alert.
We took her, together with my nephew, to a restaurant for lunch.
Living in a Nursing Home and having companionship, she no longer desires to travel around as she once did.
Yet she requested this day out. And she enjoyed it very much.

Its strange but I never think of mum as old.
To me she is still the younger woman who could do anything, and did.

I found this black and while photo of her aged in her late forties with her pet Joey (baby kangaroo).
I don't know how she got him, but she loved and treated him like a beloved child.
He went everywhere with her in the car.
Finally he grew large enough to hop over the fence and finally, he was killed on the road.
It devastated her.

Over the years mum had many pets, but he was one of a kind.

I wonder how my children will reminisce about me as time goes by?
They'll probably remember some of the funny or silly things I do.
I wonder if they will see me as old,.... or how I once was?
Life changes for all of us.
Me holding my son Peter, my nephew Bradley, my daughter Femia, and niece Cindy.
About 1970.

Dare to be Different.

I am different, and often, I rock the boat.
Here it is Sunday, and I am posting a site about jobs..
Hey, all through our life we have to work don't we?
And sometimes, we just can't find that job?
God cares and I care, so check out these sites?

Anyhow, I think it is good to be advised.
So for anyone out there who needs work, try it.

The Inspirational Story of Garvan Byrne (Edited Version)

Garvan Byrne as interview by Mother Frances Dominica, in a hospice.
How could an eleven year old boy have this much wisdom?
How could a child of this age, look forward to his own death with such faith?

I believe he was God inspired!
He stopped growing at age five and went to Glory at age twelve.

AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER DOES IT AGAIN!!!

(Prime Minister Julia Gillard -
Australia )

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the  government targeted radicals in a bid to head off  potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques.
Quote:   ‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.
Take It Or Leave It.
“I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture.
Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.  ‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom’
We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish,  Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of  our society . Learn the language!’

‘Most Australians believe in God.  This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because  Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.  If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.  ‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why.
All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and  peaceful enjoyment with us.’

‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this.  But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, THE  RIGHT TO LEAVE‘.’
‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE.

We didn’t force you to come here.
 You asked to be here.
So accept the country  YOU accepted.’

Good job madame …(Written By Brigitte Gabriel: Silence Speech)

Proud and Pride

Proud and Pride, is there a difference.
The dictionary list both with similar meanings..  Oh No!

I get very proud when I do well.
I always try to do my best, and I believe that is a good thing.
I get excited for others when they do well also..
I believe in being positive and to always encourage.
There can be a problem with being like this.
Not everyone knows where or what you have come from.
Not everyone can understand ..... Your past shapes your future.
They see the now, they don't know the before..

In EVERYTHING:   Give God The Glory.

Lets not judge others..
"For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use,
it will be measured back to you."
Matthew 7:2

I am proud to have a daughter who loves and serves the Lord...
And she is proud to declare her witness on the beach wall.

Sheep or Goat

Sheep trust, perhaps that's why Jesus said this:

"My sheep hear My voice,  Do you listen and hear from God?

and I know them,                   If so, then He knows you!

and they follow me."            This means willingly and joyfully~
John 10:26

Goats on the other hand, are obnoxious creatures...
They won't listen and they do as they please.

ARE you a Sheep or a Goat?
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.

All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left."
Matthew 25:31-33

The sheep will be kept.
The Goats left.

**CONTEST** If you have read my book, please leave your review at your purchase site..

Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus || Spoken Word

I received this in an email and it spoke directly to my heart.
I was raised amid religious diversity and it can be so confusing to a child.
My grandfather carried a stick whenever he walked.
To my child understanding, this was to ease his journey.

One day he raised that stick to strike a man of a different belief.
That incident stuck in my heart! Surely God is love, not division.
Yet in Jesus days there were three major Jewish religions, who fought against each other.

I believe God had a sense of humour when he chose a Pharisee (Paul) to preach to the gentiles.
Paul stood no nonsense and even rebuked Peter for his actions. Galatians 2:11-21.

You know...in Ephesians 2:16 It Is Written.
"and that He (Jesus) might reconcile them both (Jews and Gentiles) to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity."

So Jesus put to death, the hostility between us all at His death.
We are ONE body in Christ..With Jesus as the head. When we believe in Him.

My Time In America

I love thinking on my time in Rogersville, Tennessee as I believe I touched on some of Gods own country.
Our home sat nestled in the woods on three and a half acres, with squirrels, woodpeckers, wild turkey, skunk, deer and ONCE a black bear.
The most enchanting time was night, when all the fireflies appeared and lit up the woods like fairy lights.
The first time I saw them I couldn't believe it!
My fellow Ozzie friend Kerrie-Lyn, had a migraine headache and believed she was seeing lights.

Photo of our home towards the end of summer.

Fall came and I thought all the tree's had mysteriously died.
Can you imagine?  never having seen this before, I was mystified.
I don't like the look... its kind of sad.

We flew the American, Rebel and Australian flags..

Ray took me to Memphis, to see Graceland's.
My understanding of Elvis Presley, took on a whole new aspect with that visit.
I came to understand and like him. To me now, he was a caring, confused, manipulated man.
I believe Priscilla has done a great job of preserving his legion.

One of our many visits was to the Devils Tower at Wyoming.

 The badlands of South Dakota.

Then winter came..
I was sitting on the computer finishing off my psychology degree on-line from Australia when the first snow fell.
This was another surprise to me...
We do have snow in different area's of Oz. However, I have only been there for a week or so on  holiday.
Living with snow was another story.
Because the house was warm inside and not cold, I didn't realise that snow was falling.
When I did, it was the biggest treat, and naturally, the camera came out!

And at night it was magic.

Our boxer Bruno, standing on the back deck looking out for deer.

I love you America, and all the people I befriended there.

BEWARE of a Root of Bitterness in Your Life.

Photo of a Twin Boab Tree taken by Raymond Lindsey, outback Australia.

Just as the roots of a tree bury deep within the ground.

So do the Roots of Bitterness, bury deep within your heart.

Those Roots are revealed in Jealousy, Unrighteous Anger, Revenge and Hatred.

A Root of Bitterness causes havoc in a believers life. They are plagued constantly by their own poisonous thoughts.

In fact that person, although they may claim to be a Christian, are not.

And this is what the Word of God says about it.

"But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.  Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.  For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice."

James 3:14-16

Results of Bitterness
Just as we only have ourselves to blame for becoming bitter, we only have ourselves to blame for the consequences. Once we step upon the road of bitterness, we can only expect it to lead to evil. The destination of bitterness is hatred, cruelty, revenge, selfpity, hypocrisy, jealousy, competition, and confusion. In the end, a life of sin will not only be lived, but justified. James says it so clearly, "Where there is bitter envying and strife, there is confusion and every evil work." Bitterness is a great tool Satan uses to bring about the destruction of a believer's spiritual life and testimony.

What is amazing is everyone recognizes the problem except the one who is bitter! Bitterness blinds them from the truth. The only pleasure a bitter person has is to enlist others in their bitterness. Thus, not only does a bitter person lose their friends, but they are unable to make other friends. (See Proverbs 14:10.)

Bitterness leaves them standing alone.

Never feel justified by your bitterness.
(The only justifiable anger, is righteous anger, like defending the helpless.)

Ask God to fill you to overflowing with the  fruits of His spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galations 5:22-23

I am Aware of Angels

I am aware of Angels and that is one reason I have written about them in my new book Shadows of Time.
In my story I give my heroine the two I was given years ago.
At the time I was going through a terrible stress, one I thought I could never survive.

Then one night, as my children slept, I lay on the lounge watching television.
Engrossed in the program, I was not thinking about the Lord.
Suddenly I was given the revelation, and the names of two angels.
I was told they were always with me.
Their names are Goodness and Mercy.
Can you imagine my joy?
I got up and ran all over that big house.

They are not as depicted in the picture above.
Not at all.
Rather they are two tall males.

I am remembering them now because of an experience the other night.
I retired to bed sad and lonely.
Ray rarely goes to bed with me, and is usually up again before I am.
As many of you may realise, when not at golf he spends a lot of time on his computer.
He suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, it is a difficult condition.

Well, I was awoken about 3 am, by a loud whistle in my ear.
Its the same whistle I give, to attract my little dogs when they are up the back yard.
And it woke me up.

I know who it was, and I know why they woke me.
I needed to pray about my situation...

Did I do that?  NO!
My heart was thumping, and I stayed up for a while.
Selfishly I was thinking of myself instead of God, and I missed my opportunity.
So this year, I pray to be more aware!...more aware to pray when called.

We are not to worship Angels, they are messengers of God, sent to do His Will.

Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’”
And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

At this I fell at his feet to worship him.
But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Worship God!
For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
