Murals at The Alice. (Alice Springs.)

More on our trip and these were taken from the side of a building in Alice Springs.
Ozzies shorten everything, so we call it, The Alice.

Sorry I am not getting around to everyone but I have been very busy.
I will let these pictures talk for themselves..

YESTERYEAR DAYS: OF LIFE GONE BY.......

A scene of The Alice from a lookout above the town.
Central Australia, the heart.

Flowering Native Bush there.

We are all taught as children... Don't Rubbish Australia.
So, there is no litter anywhere.
The Motto: Do the right thing and put that rubbish, in the bin.  Even in the Bush...Outback.

Goin' Outback with Ray and his mate Gus

Ray still hasn't got his test results from the EEG back yet.
His school friend from the U.S. visited and Ray wanted to show him the Outback.
So, I went to do most of the driving.
Its too much for Ray.

Our Nissan Patrol runs on L.P.G. gas and petrol.
One runs out and we switch over to the other one.
Ray always thinks, we will make it to the next Service station, BUT, we ran out~
Always, carry a spare Petrol can.
Next our starter motor died, so leaving our vehicle to be repaired, we hired a substitute and were given a miners 4wd. It had a flashing light on top and a two way radio inside.
About Outback.... Cattle and sheep. Animals wandering on the highways, meaning having to stop and wait.
Droving, Hard work, Giro-copters, Road Trains up to six trailers long and the Flying Doctor.
A country Homestead.  Wide covered veranda's protecting from the elements.
Devil's Marbals, Northern Territory.
The Ghost Gums (Tree) have white trunks that seem to glow at night and look spooky.
If you run you hand down the trunk the white comes off on your hands.
Stopping for Petrol at a 'Station' (the name given for a huge property).
This was in the middle of nowhere. It had a sad, lonely petrol bowser sitting beside newer versions.
Gus liked the graveyard of old cars at this Homestead Station.
Next stop, Aileron. Aileron is a welcome rest stop along the Stuart Highway offering meals accommodation and fuel, located close to Ryan Well Historical Reserve. Aileron Hotel and Roadhouse is located 132 kilometres north of Alice Springs and 370 kilometres south of  Tennant Creek.
More to come, next post...

Like Abraham of Old.

I have been pondering and praying for different family members.
Life is not always rosey, in fact it can be far from it.
With Ray not his best and others phoning to tell me their problems, I began to feel weighed down.

I have a wonderful, God fearing nephew.
He is an inspiration of how to LIVE the Christian faith.
Openly he will tell you, "I don't have all the answers, but Jesus does."
There are no truer words then this. And no more humbler a man, than my nephew.
He can truthfully say, "I can't do it, but Jesus can."

His name is Lance.... and he speaks as directly as an arrow, fired to its target.
He knows there is no time like the presence, to get right with God.
Because, as we all know, there may be no tomorrow.

Lance was not brought up in a Christian Home.
He had a tough up bringing.
And he learned early in life to work hard for what he wanted.

In his younger days, he made many mistakes, and chose wrong pathways.
Then he met Jesus, and his life changed completely.
He will openly begin to cry like a baby as he shares, the conversion in his heart.
Not a Religion, =  But a Faith, Love and a Hope in a Risen Real Savour.

Last night as this blessing from God, my nephew shared with me, it Hit home Hard.
That as Abraham trusted God completly, so must I.

I can say, "Oh But, my problems are different to Abraham's.
But are they? Perhaps they are not as hard as his were?
We all think, our suffering is the worst, but is it?
I would not like to be put in the place of Abraham...
I would not like God to ask me to sacrifice my son.

If Abraham could trust God enough to hand over, all that his hopes and dreams were built on.
His precious son, then why can't I.
God did not let Abraham down. Rather, God provided a way out for him.
Won't God then, do the same for us? I will trust.  I will believe so...

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 8:32.

I feel more Free, from the revelation of this Truth, than I have for years.

Jesus is the LIGHT of the world, in Him is no darkness....
With Him in your heart, your life will shine out with love for others.
You will let go of your fears, and trust in Him, the lover of your soul.

Thank you Lance.... I Love You.  Blessings Auntie Crystal xxxx

Well Behaved Kangaroo's.

You always need to take care with wild 'Roo's so if you visit here, never underestimate them.
All of these pics were taken at a wild life sanctuary for the sick or injured.

When the mothers are 'road killed' the baby known as a Joey, will die without a pouch and feeds.

These three little one's are under two pounds in weight, so in intensive care.
Look carefully on the left and you will see, the fur-less baby. It almost looks like a puppy.

Getting a bit bigger, yet still unable to find its own food.

 Loving each other.

The good life while in rehabilitation.

I think I'll stay.

We'll all stay.

All life was created by God the Father.

  NOT IN CITIES.

YES........All life IS created by God the Father.
We have a FREE Ticket to Heaven, when we believe in Jesus the son, and His gift to us.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me…”

Religion can make the way to Heaven so hard...
But Jesus makes it easy.

The ROCK - Uluru....Into the Presence of God.

In the Middle of Australia lies a natural wonder of the World.

A couple of years ago we traveled extensively around Oz.
Ending up in central Australia, Ray was keen to see the most famous ROCK in the world, Uluru.
Now what is it about that place that everyone flocks there to see?
It was beyond me.
We camped our caravan the night before and Ray was up early next morning with his camera to begin photographing.
Am I daft??  I couldn't understand how anyone could take lots of photos, of a silly rock?
VERY INTERESTING INFORMATION:
http://www.ayersrockresort.com.au/?gclid=CICqsdy2hrECFedMpgodBXNLPw

The Size of This Rock: The sandstone formation stands 348 m (1,142 ft) high (rising 863 m/2,831 ft above sea level), with most of its bulk lying underground, and has a total circumference of 9.4 km (5.8 mi).

Once I got to see this amazing natural landmark, I understood the spiritual meaning it holds to our Aboriginals.    I felt like I was in the presence of a very powerful spiritual force. I am still dumbstruck when I think about it.  I believe that is how I will feel when I finally meet my creator face to face. The Rock, or Uluru as it is called by our indigenous people, changes colours, through out the day.

Ray climber all over it, taking about two hours.
I sat on a seat and looked and looked at it enthralled.
In the evening, as the sun goes down, it becomes magical.
All I can say about it now is: It draws you back into its majestic presence, where you feel at one with the creator.

A Dream

I have never really liked living indoors.
Wouldn't it be nice to roam free.
Move off when you feel like it,
Live where you want to.
Eat and sleep at will...

 A romantic bedroom of dreams.
Dream away the day,,

And relax, tell stories and laugh with friends...

In Heaven we will have all the time in the world to be like this.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.

Revelation 21:1-4
The Celestial City
 I have a destiny I know I shall fulfill
I have a destiny in that city on a hill.
I have a destiny and it's not an empty wish
For I know ..... I was born..... for such a time..... as this.    (Song)
