Why Extreme Weather Is Increasing! – Part One

Why Extreme Weather Is Increasing! – Part One CLICK HERE AND READ !!!!

Some churches don't tell of this? WHY?
Some churches dwell on it too much.
Some Ministers, Priests and Pastors laugh it off with human reasoning.
However, for all who read their Bibles, and know the prophesies...
They know, we are in, The End Days.

The article above gives statistics...
When you read about what is happening all over the world, it will open your eyes to understanding.

When Noah built the ark, it took him years. It had never rained upon the earth
at that time, a dew fell at night supplying water. So can you imagine how people laughed
at him?  But Noah believed God, and did what he was told.

Today we are told to watch for the sign's.
We are told to be ready.
The Bible is the oldest book on earth.
The dead sea scroll's discovered by two sheppard boys, prove the Bible truths.
So now it is up to us. We can believe our creator God, or do we believe what man says?
I read Gods Word, and I will do as He says.
I know many who read this have been deeply hurt by some churches.
They have suffered much in this world.
Well....you may not know it, but I have also, more than any of you could ever realise.
I have learned to become Better and not Bitter.
Suffering brings endurance, wisdom and a humble heart.
We all have choices.

Aerial photos of Gympie floods, Queensland, Australia

Aerial photos of Gympie floods | Gympie Times   (CLICK TO VIEW)

January 2013:  My town is flooded, but we are high, dry and safe...
There have been 3 fatalies all told in Queensland, one being in Gympie.
Very sad for the families. One of the others was a little three year old boy.

We pray safety over everyone.
Glory To God In The Highest, our protector!

I am, you are, we are Australian

Australia Day 26th January

Today on Australia Day, I give honor to a great Australian writer and poet.

Isobel Marion Dorothea Mackellar
This is her most famous poem about our country.

My Country

The love of field and coppice
Of green and shaded lanes,
Of ordered woods and gardens
Is running in your veins.
Strong love of grey-blue distance,
Brown streams and soft, dim skies
I know, but cannot share it,
My love is otherwise.

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!

The stark white ring-barked forests,
All tragic to the moon,
The sapphire-misted mountains,
The hot gold hush of noon,
Green tangle of the brushes
Where lithe lianas coil,
And orchids deck the tree-tops,
And ferns the warm dark soil.

Core of my heart, my country!
Her pitiless blue sky,
When, sick at heart, around us
We see the cattle die
But then the grey clouds gather,
And we can bless again
The drumming of an army,
The steady soaking rain.

Core of my heart, my country!
Land of the rainbow gold,
For flood and fire and famine
She pays us back threefold.
Over the thirsty paddocks,
Watch, after many days,
The filmy veil of greenness
That thickens as we gaze ...

An opal-hearted country,
A wilful, lavish land
All you who have not loved her,
You will not understand
though Earth holds many splendours,
Wherever I may die,
I know to what brown country
My homing thoughts will fly.

End Days.

Its raining.
Finally the rain has come and is soaking into the dry brown grass.
This is the side effects of a cyclone further north and we have been told that now its here, there will be flash flooding and rain for days?
We go from one extreme of drought to the other.
Still, it was lovely to sleep with the rain beating on the roof last night, so refreshing from the heat.

I know I keep on harping about this year....I don't usually do this, so why is it so special.
I just have a feeling...
I finished writing my second book and have sent it into a Christian Manuscript Submission on-line.
Heaven, and what it is like, has been the main focus.
Yes, its a continuation of Shadows of Time, my first book.
But the reality of Heaven, the beauty, and the everlasting joy of being there, burst forth in my writing.

And then... quite by accident, I read about an atheist who without any prior knowledge of the bible, was taken to Heaven, in a dream.
This story rings true in my heart.
Please read it.... because if what he says is true, and I for one believe it is, we will see many changes this coming year.

Yesterday I met with many sweet Christian ladies for coffee, fellowship and quiz's.
My granddaughter Shiarny came with me, and then my daughter Daniella happened along while working and took these snaps.
Can you find us?  LOL

and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:25

About 2013

I wonder what this year will bring?
I believe we are in for many more surprises.

I want to please God in all that I do..
Yet I am sure there will be many things I do, that don't please him at all.

We are fast becoming a selfish society.
We want twenty pairs of shoes.
The best in clothes, bags, jewelry, make-up, nails and skin care.
I look at some sites where all that is promoted are greedy desires.

There was a song I used as my theme when I taught scripture classes in public schools.
It was by the group, STRIPER, does anyone know them?
The song was rocky and got the kids in.
The first lines said......
"I want to be a God pleaser, don't want to be a man pleaser, I want to do the things that please the Fathers heart..."

Thats what I want to do this year.
I want to Please the Fathers heart.

"For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?
Or am I trying to please man?
If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Galatians 1:10

Servant of the Lord

If you think that being a Servant of the Lord, makes life easy, then forget it.
It can almost seem the other way.
Yet beyond hurt feelings and people thinking you're a screw ball, the bottom line is, perseverance.
Stay strong in the Lord.

Facebook: For my many friends on there, you will notice I now only have my author page active.
Because of this, I can no longer see your Sharings, read your Posts, or Comment on anything you have written.
Please don't take offense with this, I just don't want anyone reading what I say or do, the wrong way.

Splitting: You may not be aware of this word or what it implies.
Basically, you will say something in all innocence to someone, and they repeat it on to another, changing the wording slightly, you putting you into a bad light.
Splitting means putting a wedge between you and another person.
People who suffer from mental disorders do this all the time.
They make themselves look good and make you look a villain.

So I am standing on the Promises of God...
And I use the scripture from Psalm 91 below to do so.

If anyone tells you something about another, and what they say sounds out of character in regard the person they are talking about, then clarify it with the person spoken of.
Otherwise, pray about it and leave it with the Lord.

ALSO: Someone from Facebook has listed this Blog as spam.
I know this because coming from Facebook to my Blog, a reader will first find a warning.

Sad, yes it is. Maybe I am spam? Maybe not? It depends where the reader comes from in respect to their own values and beliefs....
Thank you to the many who are my friends on here. I appreciate you.

Not So Well

Is it the New Year that brings contemplation? or is it me?
I keep getting a re-occurring infection and since I have been fighting it for ages, I am finally going to ask for a letter to a specialist. My wonderful Pastor came and prayed for me the other day. How great it is to have Christian friends.
He told me I wear myself down caring about everyone else and that I need to take life easier.
Yes! I believe he is right... sometimes God speaks wisdom from the mouths of others.
I need to listen.
So I am slowing down with my Blog among other things.
I want to get out of the house and walk more, yet if I don't get up early enough, its too hot later.
The heat is becoming unbearable, thank God for air conditioning.
We try to wait until around  2pm when it becomes stifling before all is closed up and the magic is turned on.
Today all I could do was lay on the lounge dosing while Ray watched the tennis on t.v.
Finally I asked him to please make us something to eat.
He cooked potatos and peas, put butter on them and gave me a bowl with a spoon to eat them.
I still don't feel well, so now I'm off to bed.
Everything is for a reason and sometimes God just says STOP.
Thats where I am, please forgive me for slowing down.
Blessings to all of you.

Of Two Minds

I have had a mixture of feelings over this New Year.
Watching the News each day is not encouraging as so many atrocities show their face.
What else will we read. or hear?
For many years I made it a rule not to watch the news.
I saw enough at work as a nurse either in a mental health ward or the emergency department. I wasn't willing to witnessing more.

The rape of this young student in India, has saddened my heart more than anyone can realise.
It was absolute abuse of an innocent fragile victim.
I hope many who read this, will sign the partitiion to support women against rape in india.
Some may think, as we live far away from that country, what has it to do with us?
My rational is, firstly there needs to be justice, and secondly what if men like this migrate to our countries?
How will anyone be safe? And how would we know who they are?
No! it needs to be stopped at the starting point.

Otherwise......

On the happy side, our Mango Tree is full of fruit.
And when I look at it and realise God wonderful provisions I feel uplifted.
I love mango's, the smell and the taste.

Ray has placed plastic bags over some of the fruit, hoping it will deter the parrots.
The fruit won't be as sweet this year due to the heat and drought.
They are huge, some the size of a soft ball. I placed a golf ball near them so you can see.

They ripen well like this, without the parrots feeding on them.

Just to show you the results of the lack of rain on our lawn.
The green is where it has received some water left over from watering the garden.
We are not on water restrictions yet, but all Ozzies are aware of not overusing or wasting.
Our last drought of 10yrs (with scarce rain) ended in floods..
Thats the way it seems to be in this huge country. Hopefully there will be no bush (eucalyptus) fires this year.

Our way of life is generated towards drawing on our natural resoures.
We have a water tank on the back of our house that collects any rainwater from the roof.
The water is drinkable after a good shower and the dirt has been washed away. Otherwise, we use it on the garden.

Ray and I are considering solapower on our roof.
My son has it and his last 3 monthy power bill, including the use of airconditioning, was a mear $40.
Some people get enough power for their own use and sell back the surplas to the electricity companies.
These consumers, pay nothing and actually get paid for what they give back.

Since I am an Australian citizen and now on the Age Pension, I am intital to a governemnt rebate.
This takes away the major expense towards getting it installed.

Ray has installed a huge sundome skylight in our kitchen for futher electricity savings.
I never need to turn the light on now during the day. The winter months are sunny so it works well then also. Even on a moon-light night, the kitchen is well lit up.

It have always loved a quote by Mother Teresa.
"A wise man mends his clothes, and thats why he is rich. A foolish man doesen't and thats why he is poor."

Knuckle down and buckle up, and you will never run short.

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me,
To give to every one according to his work."
Revelation 22:12
