Sneak Peek: 'Fireproof''
The story is great, it says it all.
Men and women are different. We don't always understand the other.
Because of this, hurt can grown into a wound of discouragement.
In this movie:
Men learn how NOT, to treat a woman.
Women learn there may be more than meets the eye.
In wisdom, we all need to keep learning.
My husband and I learnt much from watching this together.
I have now given it to my son.
I pray all who earnestly seek a lasting relationship, watch!
It's worth your while...it will surprise you.
God bless your ears to hear, you eyes to see,
and your Heart to learn.
Widow of Raymond Isaac Lindsey..... And an author since 2012 and retired Specialist Registered Nurse. I reside in sub-tropical Queensland, Australia, with my two little dogs.
Late in 2008 I began to explore and enjoy the realm of creative writing. This is something which has always been an interest yet until now,I haven't found time to indulge.
God is the cornerstone of my home and heart. He is my life and my breath, for without Him I am nothing. My desire is to edify His existence in my daily walk through life. To inspire and encourage the broken hearted. And to assist in the knowledge that EVERYTHING has a reason and a purpose under the Heavens.
We are reminded through our faith in Jesus that He will, "Turn our Mourning into Dancing and our Sorrow into Joy." Psalms 30:11. Having personally experienced tough times I know, there is truly no gain without pain.

ReplyDeleteI watched the film in January of this year, and it set in motion a world of change for me! This was the catalyst that opened my eyes with regards to my relationship not only with my then fiancée, but above all, my relationship with God. I had an absolutely profound experience on the night that I watched this film, and it was the night I gave my heart to Jesus and accepted Him as my saviour.
ReplyDeleteIn February I bought the "Love Dare" Book - The film inspired me so much that I had no choice but to take the 40 day challenge that would eventually be the best thing for my relationship. I took the dare very seriously and committed to it 100%. After the 40 days were over, the change in our relationship was so visible to the outside world and to us. "Adam" still doesn't know that I did the dare, he just knows that something remarkable had taken place.
I recommend this film and the book to anyone that wants to make a difference in their relationship with God and their spouse. It is now the standard gift I give to couples at their wedding.
If you would like to read about my 40 Day Journey, you can do so on my blog.
