Sunshine and Dedication
My blog isn't working properly??
However, the sun is shining and life goes on.
Thank you to the many friends who have written and prayed.
The birds are back once more and singing happily.
Looking out, one would not imaging anything but a beautiful world.
There is much cleaning up of debris after the floods.
This is the photo of Jordan Rice, a thirteen year old boy who put his brothers safety before his own.
On the roof of their car with floods whirling all around,Jordan had the chance to be saved.
He declined saying, "take my brother first."
When the rescuer turn back to help him and his mother, they were gone, lost in the water surge. Disappeared!
Jordan was afraid of water, yet in his final moment his love for his brother came first.
The hurt of many, goes very deep.
Even our little dog Monty has felt sad?
All he wanted was to sleep on dad's lap.
It's a good thing he can't read or his feelings might be hurt, but He looks funny with two missing bottom teeth.
Even in heart break there is always something funny to lighten the load.

Late in 2008 I began to explore and enjoy the realm of creative writing. This is something which has always been an interest yet until now,I haven't found time to indulge.
God is the cornerstone of my home and heart. He is my life and my breath, for without Him I am nothing. My desire is to edify His existence in my daily walk through life. To inspire and encourage the broken hearted. And to assist in the knowledge that EVERYTHING has a reason and a purpose under the Heavens.
We are reminded through our faith in Jesus that He will, "Turn our Mourning into Dancing and our Sorrow into Joy." Psalms 30:11. Having personally experienced tough times I know, there is truly no gain without pain.

Your little dog senses your own sadness and reacts the only way it knows how - by mourning with you. If only more people could be so loyal! I'm sure we'll all continue to pray for those who've lost so much and those who have or are helping others. Bless you and yours.
