It is not common for a Koala to bear twins.
Yet when a female Koala was hit and killed on the road.
The driver stopped, and took the mother to the local vet.
He didn't realise she was already dead.
Live twins were discovered in her pouch.
Wondering where their mother was?
They received mother love.
Little bright eyes looked around at the strange world.
Yet when a female Koala was hit and killed on the road.
The driver stopped, and took the mother to the local vet.
He didn't realise she was already dead.
Live twins were discovered in her pouch.
So Tiny.
Tube fed they survived.
Learned to drink from a bottle and grew fur.
They looked like stuffed toys.
They were introduced to the Gum Tree.
Then they thanked their carer, for giving them life.
Two twins survived because people cared.
A very uplifting post. Can you imagine what life would be like if no one cared about you?
ReplyDeleteEven the most unloved person in the world still needs someone to love them. I think that is what God tells us, "Even though everyone else rejects you and casts you out, I love you, so cling to Me because I love you, I really do."
But you have more than Gods love for you, I love you too. Geoff.
Amazing and heartwarming post with many messages here. Thank you for sharing. Peace, Mollye
ReplyDeleteI LOVE stories like these! These two are soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteI just read a story about a male dove raising baby bunnies. The instinct to care for the young is very strong not only in animals but in people too.
Bless you sister,
