Happy Birthday Son

                    As a toddler.                               First Holy Communion.                             Twelve Years old.


My son, Lee Joel turns 33 yrs tomorrow, the 21st August.
I remember the day he was born.
I went into labour early in the morning, yet felt the delivery would still be some time off.
Since everyone was sleeping, I go up and made school lunches and did quiet jobs around the house until the pain became too severe.
I was taken into the hospital around 6am and he was born later that afternoon. I had him in a maturity Unit where my own sister had worked as head Sister, so I was taken good care of.
He was a big boy weighing in at 9lb 2oz.

He excelled at soccer and played for the best club in Sydney.

At nineteen he competed a course in Graphic Arts, yet he preferred working outdoors so has since worked in concrete.
Lee is quiet and gentle, and he prefers to stay out of the limelight.

He is my son and while he wouldn't like me sharing too much, I have to say, how proud I am of him.

He is a wonderful caring and loving father to his own little boy, Izaiah, who we call Zai.
