The flood waters are receding and life it getting back to normal... for some more than others.
Many businesses in my town have gone bust.
There is talk of moving all the shops to higher ground.
In the mean time I have been attending Bible College..
I am learning so much, and have loads of work to complete at home..
So if I don't get around to all my sweet friends on here as I would like to, please forgive me.
The birds disappeared for a while. I guess they flew off to dryer pastures...
But they are all back again. Their noisy chatter gladdens my heart.

Jesus is Alive
Widow of Raymond Isaac Lindsey..... And an author since 2012 and retired Specialist Registered Nurse. I reside in sub-tropical Queensland, Australia, with my two little dogs.
Late in 2008 I began to explore and enjoy the realm of creative writing. This is something which has always been an interest yet until now,I haven't found time to indulge.
God is the cornerstone of my home and heart. He is my life and my breath, for without Him I am nothing. My desire is to edify His existence in my daily walk through life. To inspire and encourage the broken hearted. And to assist in the knowledge that EVERYTHING has a reason and a purpose under the Heavens.
We are reminded through our faith in Jesus that He will, "Turn our Mourning into Dancing and our Sorrow into Joy." Psalms 30:11. Having personally experienced tough times I know, there is truly no gain without pain.

Sort of like Noah's doves, heh? Glad things are getting better over there. You know, I never dreamed, when I was a kid, that I would someday have a passing acquaintance with people on the other side of the world and pray for their troubles and they for mine. Thank you for being partb of that amazing opportunity. Bless you, Crystal.
ReplyDeleteYou will always have my prayers.. its great that God is everywhere..

Good morning Crystal. Thank you so much for visiting my Blog. I loved wandering around your little piece of the "meadow". The birds are beautiful. I would love to have them in my back yard, although we get beautiful Cardinals and Blue-Jays. I love in the mountains of New Jersey and do not experience flooding too much up here, but we have seen flooding like that just 20 miles south of here where my husband works. I pray that there is no more of that for you guys this year. I look forward to following you. Have a blessed day : )
