Laurie, is a builder and has used his many talents in teaching and building dwellings to help the local community. He shares with the older children and staff how to make concrete bricks to later be used for housing, churches, hospitals and schools.
Jenny is a school teacher and assists with educating.
Instead of commencing with a prep class and kindergarten, the children begin with a class 00, then 0, prior continuing on up with the various ages.
Can you imagine how heart wrenching it is, to find children abandoned on the streets. Some of these kiddies parents have died, leaving them to fend for themselves. And yet, they are happy and smile. They are appreciative for all they receive.
To the mission fields is where the God of Love has been sent in Action, as well as in Word.
Money is required to help with this work of helping others to help themselves....
In Matthew 25:35-40,
Jesus Said......
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

There are so many needy in this world. We may not be able to help all of the time, but every time you give and bless another, you receive a blessing from God in return.
James 1:27
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
Very touching to read this post and see the pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy goal also in life is to help whenever and wherever i am. Bless your heart sister.
Thats a great way to be Joy. x
DeleteHi Crystal Mary,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to do with your life.
We have a missionary family that are in Galmi Africa (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) He is a physician at the hospital and she works as a nurse. Their 5 children are training in the medical field so they too can work there and minister to those who are in need. It is a great calling.
Thanks for sharing,
<><
Yes it is a great calling.
DeleteHi There, What a fabulous couple --doing God's work in Africa. That's AWESOME. Praise God for them. We have a couple of friends here whose hearts are totally in missions. They go to Mexico a couple times a year with their church to work with the poor people down there. They say that their lives are blessed by helping these people. We need MORE people who will do this kind of work... I think about all of the lazy young adults here in our country who demonstrate on the streets wanting our Govt. to take care of them... THEY should be out there in the mission field somewhere doing something for someone else --rather than thinking of only themselves.
ReplyDeletePrayers for your mission couple...
Hugs,
Betsy
I agree with you Betsy. I have always worked and volunteered as well. There are so many people who do nothing. Hug to you. xx
DeleteOne of God's complaints with many of the Jews was that they weren't looking after the widows and orphans. I'm sure he'd tell Christians much the same. We need to do better.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that.
DeleteHow very lovely~ and I know the Lord must look on them with delight. So inspirational~
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe they will be favoured of the Lord.
DeleteDear Crystal Mary, thank you for these lovely photographs and for the story accompanying them and also for this reminder to not only "talk the talk" but to also "walk the walk" that is the Gospel message. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI always think we need to do what we say. These people surely do that.
DeleteCrystal, thank you for visiting my blog. You have unusual photos, not something I see everyday. It is sad , all the hunger in the world. Glad you are helping.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHello Susie, Thank you for your visit in return. We who love the Lord are a team to cling to.
DeleteI tell you - when someone volunteers their life for that - I admire them - not only do they help - but that is so sad and depressing! God bless them. sandie
ReplyDeleteI believe it is very difficult and they are very special.
DeleteI'm so glad to know there are people like you and this couple out there doing God's work. Blessings to you my friend.. Susie
ReplyDeleteI don't do what they do, but we all have our gifts to use. Every little bit done, helps.
DeleteMissionary's are special in the Lords service as are those who support them.
ReplyDeleteYes they do a wonderful job.
DeleteJoining the missions I've always thought is a lot of hard work but so gratifying. You do the world a lot of good with your missionary work. I'm so inspired.
ReplyDeleteThey inspired me als.
DeleteI love that deliberate shift in attitude in the last pic. Changing from 'too late' to 'still hope.' What a powerful challenge. Thanks for sharing, Crystal.
ReplyDeleteBlessings for a wonderful weekend to you. xx
Good onya Dottie. xx
ReplyDeleteI admire anybody who go on missions and I wish I could do the same! Have a blessed week-end! Hug
ReplyDeleteHi Crystal, sweet dear friend,
ReplyDeleteThis story amazes me so much. I'm always happy to visit you.
These Ozzie Missionaries are God's people serving the Lord at their very best. I admire folks who are always ready to help others, especially orphaned, abandoned children in foreign lands, for they show their good hearts. Many people nowadays are very selfish, and they only think in themselves. I wish there were more people like those ones of your story helping others in need. Then, we would all live in a better world for a better life going towards Heaven. Thank you so much, Crystal Mary for sending me wonderful and inspirational videos and messages to my email! You are a super Christian friend.
I highly appreciate everlasting friendship in Christ.
God sets a plan for our lives, and we should go on serving the Lord at our very best, just like these amazing Ozzie Missionaries. I would certainly do something like that, if it were my call from God. The Lord guides my footsteps, and He shows me the way. Praise the Lord in all circumstances!
God may always touch your life with many blessings, and your beloved ones, sweet Crystal!
Warm Hugs & Much Love,
Starry.
