I am sure like me, you get tired of WAITING..
There always seems something we have to WAIT for.
I know my Bible, but I was surprised about some of the WAITS people experienced there.
I am sure if I had been Abraham and Sarah, I would have been very sure the promise wasn't coming.
So if you have been praying for ages and haven't seen a result.
Don't give up and don't loose heart, because God is working it out.
Hebrews 11:13-16
All these people were still living by faith when they died.
They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance.
And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth.
People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.
If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.
Instead, they were longing for a better country--a heavenly one.
Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Waiting
Widow of Raymond Isaac Lindsey..... And an author since 2012 and retired Specialist Registered Nurse. I reside in sub-tropical Queensland, Australia, with my two little dogs.
Late in 2008 I began to explore and enjoy the realm of creative writing. This is something which has always been an interest yet until now,I haven't found time to indulge.
God is the cornerstone of my home and heart. He is my life and my breath, for without Him I am nothing. My desire is to edify His existence in my daily walk through life. To inspire and encourage the broken hearted. And to assist in the knowledge that EVERYTHING has a reason and a purpose under the Heavens.
We are reminded through our faith in Jesus that He will, "Turn our Mourning into Dancing and our Sorrow into Joy." Psalms 30:11. Having personally experienced tough times I know, there is truly no gain without pain.

DeleteHi sweet friend, Crystal,
DeleteIt is certainly refreshing to read The Revelations Book of The Holy Bible. It gives me hope and wisdom.
The future holds the truth, and just waiting for it, it is an amazing experience in itself, I think...
Your words of wisdom makes me wonder.
Thank you so much for your kind emails and loving ways!
God may always touch your life with many blessings and those you love, my dear friend Crystal.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with Ray, family and beloved ones!
Blessings,
Poet Starry.
Dear Crystal, I read another blog today on patience/waiting patiently and it contained some wisdom by E. Tolle, which is that if one is being patient and "white-knuckling" life then one is not living in the present but in expectation of future. I continue on my journey to living more fully in the present and so I'm letting go of wanting this or that and waiting for it and trying to simply be here and now in this present moment. Peace.

God keeps blessing you, Crystal!
