This unique SERBIAN church is in the desert Outback town of Coober Pedy in South Australia. Temperatures reach beyond 40 degrees Celsius.

For that reason the coolest place is beneath the ground.

This beautiful church was created for worship by miners who
came to work and live in the town.

Inside there's a church hall, parish house and even a school.

The stained glass internal windows are lit up using electric lights to bring their glorious effect.

Even while searching for opals and wealth, God is not forgotten

I love the Outback - so I share about it in my books.
