U.S. Marine Vietnam Sacrifice is a memoir by Raymond Isaac Lindsey, a Vietnam veteran, of his experiences after the war, written by his wife, Crystal Mary Lindsey.

At nineteen, Raymond (Ray) fought in the Vietnam War against children recruited by the Viet Cong. The experience left him with physical and mental injuries.

His therapy and treatment in Japan caused more harm, and when he returned home, he experienced symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Despite having a loving family and friends, Ray felt like he was in another world most of the time, which affected his relationships.

He could not sleep because of his narcolepsy, and when he finally closed his eyes, he had nightmares. Ray eventually met Crystal, an Australian nurse whose father had experienced PTSD. The two fell in love, and she brought light into his dark life and helped him confront his demons.

A very gripping true story. One never really knows the price that is paid for our freedom.
Each man or woman who chooses to bravely defend our country and encounter
war truly gives up their life to do so. They will never be the same again.

Ray’s story is a tell-all of an American Marine who sacrificed everything to
serve his country. This book is a page-flipper as it draws you into each scene.
A roller coaster of emotions will swirl through your heart, mind, and soul as you
read through the journey of his life. Ray’s wife, the author and writer of this book,
can only be seen as courageous to write such a story honoring the man, the soldier,
and the love of her life.

This book not only tells the saga of an unsung hero but it also taught me a lot
about PTSD and other medical conditions. Personally, it’s a must-read with an
ending that leaves you in shock!

May God Bless Crystal Mary Lindsey and All of our Brave troops and veterans
who have chosen to put their lives on the frontline both at home and abroad.
The war inside them never truly ends! My heart and prayers go out to all the
survivors of such families.

Buy this book.  A Great Christmas gift for a returned veteran.
