One disgruntled sheep farmer installed an electric fence to stop his sheep going missing.
These photos show a surprise at what he caught.
The Culprit
However, they are non venomous, killing their prey by strangulation.
They are noctural staying under houses, in roofs or up trees during the day.
Their length measures from 2-4 metres or 6 1/2 to over 13 feet long.....
Some people keep them as pets. My advice is, stay safe and don't trust!
Below is my grandson Luke with two of his special treasures.....
Unusual pets....but not harmful...
* Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee.
Isaiah 26:3
Jeepers what a snake. A lot of good it did him to eat someone's pet. Didn't get away with it. Glad you were in a vehicle. Getting ready for a storm in Ky. and Thunder Over Louisville tomorrow. Gearing up for the Ky. Derby. That is a lot of medical folks in the family.

Hello, your looking good, you actually look like the late Queen Mother in your lovely outfit..
ReplyDeleteKeep safe from the storm, You may get a nice rainbow photo? and I have heard of the KY derby. I only got to KY once, on the back of the Harley from TN.
Have a very happy safe day. God bless. Hugs
Oh... the lightening flashed, the thunder roared and while the earth quaked... a little pig rolled up his tail and ran to save his bacon...
ReplyDeleteCan't you see him!!LOL
I had no idea you could catch a snake in an electric fence. Wow! I have never seen anything like that.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, what a snake! We don't get those here unless someone keeps it as a pet -- the biggest snake I've ever gotten up close and personal with was a bull snake a girlfriend kept as a pet in high school -- it was nothing like this one!
ReplyDeleteHello Christine H, I don't think the farmer considered what he would catch. Bless you for visiting. hugs
ReplyDeleteHiya Bill, I couldn't believe the size of the one I almost ran over. We have been taught a snake can wrap itself around a car wheel and fling up into the engine then enter the car...so, we try not to run over them. I'd hate one inside with me. Bless you.
I think I'd take your advise. The last thing I'd want was one of those for a pet.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure my little dog would appreciate it either.
What a fright !!! Praise the Lord you're OK.
ReplyDeleteThanx for your comments about my book on my Blog. I hope you enjoy reading it. Tell others if you do like it.
God bless you always.
eeueuw what a snake! I do not like any size snake at all; I would have been paralyzed at the thought of driving over one...wandered here from Sepia Sat. post where I was surprised at the snake post, but you have a meaningful blog! Blessings...
ReplyDeleteOh, this makes me scream! Then I get to the end of your post and the scripture. Wow.
ReplyDeleteBarry, Thank you for your visit. Blessings to you..
ReplyDeleteVictory, I'm too tough for any old snake to swallow..Lol, Just finishing off Bill's wonderful book. Your next! Looking forward to it. God Bless.
Pat, I don't like snakes one bit, yet some humans are worse. The wonderful thing is, God loves and protects us from all. Bless you for visiting. Hugs.
Whidbey, Thank you so much. God is smiling on you.
Oh my but I don't like snakes, I am not frightened of anything, but snakes do bring out a fear. Your advice should be taken by all my friend........:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteHiya Bernie dear, Yes you can understand why God depicted Satan as a snake. They are lowly creatures. Bless you.
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge snake. Looks a lot like the African rock python, except for the teeth. African rock pythons get very big and are ambush hunters, they like to submerge themselves in water holes, with just their nostrils showing, and grab antelope and other animals when they come to drink.
