As I have written to her.
It is approximately 50 miles from where I live.
"He set the earth on its foundations;
it can never be moved.
You (God) covered it with the watery depths as with a garment;
the waters stood above the mountains.
But at your rebuke the waters fled,
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
they flowed over the mountains,
they went down into the valleys,
to the place you assigned for them.
You set a boundary they cannot cross;
never again will they cover the earth.
Psalm 104:5-9
A day out on Frazer Island.
Crossing the sand at Rainbow Beach to the Barge.
Carries approximately 15 vehicles.
Hubby Ray
75 miles of beach sea, sun and sand to explore.
Give way to aircraft landing.
The S.S. Maheno was an Edwardian liner on the Tasman Sea crossing between New Zealand and Australia, and was used as a hospital ship by the New Zealand division of the Royal Navy during World War 1.
Postcard of how it was.
Drive down the sandy bush tracks and hope no one comes from the opposite direction. Listen to the birds. Look at the many fresh water lakes. Love those ghost gums.
Spot a Dingo (Australian wild dog).
He was so pretty.
Stop at the tropical shops for refreshments.
It's nice to go out for the day, but always nice to get home again.
*Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart...
Psalms and Proverbs are my two favorite Old Testament books, though there's less history in them than most.
ReplyDeleteFrazer Island looks like a pretty place; thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for sharing the scripture and your lovely day on Frazer Island. I wish I could get to the sea and sand so quickly. Just something special about that. You can especially feel the Majesty of the Creator out there.

I loved looking at your beautiful photos. There is nothing like being surrounded with God's glory in nature and the people we love.
ReplyDeleteIt is snowing here (in Western Pennsylvania.) Though it has grown cold, and winter makes her presence known, God is all around us, showering us with blessings of peace, joy and pure hearts--those gifts that only He can give.
Blessings to you, friend, on the other side of His beautiful Earth. :)
Hello hubby Ray. These are such interesting photos. The ship wrecked on the beach is so unusual and the land and seascapes are outstanding. Cute little dog too.
