And its still rising.
Hubby Ray ventured out to take these this morning.
The main street of town is expecting to go under by this afternoon.
As yet the river at the side of the town has not peeked.
Everyone is safe.
Psalm 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Prayers are being offered.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend and I, when we worked together, used to say "That's just the way I like it." No matter how rough it got we said that. It always made us laugh. We knew God would take care of us no matter what. Prayers here.

I hope it does not hit your area of town. It looks pretty bad and a lot of damage will occur.
ReplyDeletePraying for the Lord's protection over you and your family and those affected by the flood. That's a lot of water! Take care sister and thanks be to God for His protection! God bless.
ReplyDeleteThis looks bad big time and my heart goes out to those that lost one thing or the other or even loved ones. God will continue to guide, guard and protect us!
ReplyDeleteHad a good time going through your blog
That is heart-wrenching! And one of my thoughts was, "I bet the insurance companies are having heart-failure!" But seriously, it is time for it to stop raining and the flood waters to recede. Clean-up will take a long time. . . . . . so thankful you are okay. . . . . but how is this affecting your food supply and utilities? Do you still have enough to eat, and electricity, etc.?
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering about our Australian friends with this terrible flooding. May God walk with all of you, and keep you safe.

ReplyDeleteStill praying for you and yours, plus everyone in your end of the country. May God protect you.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I made a post partly in response to something you said the other day.
Stay warm, dry and safe dear Mary, keeping you and your family in my heart and prayers...Hug
