Hard Life ~ and always Thankful

Life is indeed, what you make it.

I have had many ups and downs yet with every hurtful incident I can honestly say that I have NEVER wavered in my faith OR questioned God WHY?

I add the last bit, the WHY because I hear so many people ask, Why did God let this happen?
God is not always to blame. Satan causes trouble. We ourselves, by the lives we live and the foods we eat, bring much on ourselves. Even on our unborn fetus, and birthed children.


 His word says :

 ^"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)

So rejoice about everything that happens to you. You are being moulded into a vessel for good use. 

Physical life is a fleeting moment in time, a vapour soon blown away. 

Eternal life however, never ends. It is a rainbow of happiness when we abide in the Father through Jesus Christ the son.

Lindy Chamberlain Offically Innocent!

Many Many of us, never ever believed Lindy Chamberlain was guilty of the death of her two months old daughter..Azaria.   Killed by a Dingo in 1980.
Praise God she has now been officially declared NOT GUILTY.
Many children have been attacked by Dingo's.

All the evidence at the time, proved Lindy innocent..
And yet.. The Australian Justice System, charged her guilty and this poor grieving lady, served time in prison.
A Public apology is not enough!!

I am writing this in support of a mother wrongly sentenced..
May God surround this family with His love and Peace.

Peter's Paradise Pad

I returned from spending a few days, some 800 kilometres north of where I live.
MacKay, far North Queensland was my destination.
My son Peter is now living at Kolunna Resort, 150 metres walk to the ocean.

 I had to be careful parking underneath the coconut palms..
I don't need dents in my car body from falling fruit.

                                A swimming pool welcomes before Peter's front door.

                                No 34= 7     Welcome in the name of the Lord.

                                A ceiling fan whirls to supply all three rooms.

 

Cool comfortable and just the right size.

 

Wild Whistling ducks come begging for breakfast.

Sun sails protect the cars at the shopping centre.

We met a special little boy named HAYDEN.

All dressed in a cow suit. 

For those who don't know. Peter is my second eldest. He had been off work unwell. 

Thank you to the many who prayed for him. I am so grateful!

He is back to his old self and rejoicing....Praise God.

Floods In My Town

Rain fall continues heavy with over 2ooml over 24 hrs.
Highway is cutting off. Semi's can't get through.

Hubby Ray ventured out to take these this morning.

The main street of town is expecting to go under by this afternoon.

As yet the river at the side of the town has not peeked. 

Everyone is safe.

Shining * STARS *

ROGERSVILLE, TENNESSEE

There is no place like home and although I only lived and worked in Rogersville for three years, a piece of me remains there.
It is an historical town with quaint antique shops in the old section.
Established in the 1770's, it is one of the oldest towns in Tennessee.
I thought I was in Heaven when I first arrived because everyone was so sweet and kind. Driving on the opposite side of the road  was a little confusing at first, yet no-one lost their patience. They sat and waited, then with a friendly wave, saw me on my way....
It certainly was a learning process.  

This was our home in the woods.

Amid the woodpeckers and squirrels.

It was enchanting to an Ozzie.

At the first sign of snow I ran around with the camera trying to capture all the white magic..

Living in the tropics of Queensland we don't see this in winter.

My church family.

It took a while to find somewhere I felt at home.

But I discovered CROSSROADS was the place to be.

( When you come to that place in your life, and you don't know which way to go. Take the road to the CHRIST )  

Here I soon discovered, acceptance love and friendship with excellent teaching and wonderful singing and music.

About a year after I left, the precious church family came together for this photo. 

They all got together to wave me hello....but a few are missing.

The best part of this work was everyone belonged to the Lord. 

Much care and love is given out to the Patients.

Everyone needs a good friend and mine was and still is, Nancy.

Both registered nurses we attended the same church, shared with each other and prayed together.

Nancy and her hubby John are special folk.

They give out of themselves and nothing is ever too much trouble.
