The Joy of The Lord

Nehemiah 8:10
"This day is holy to our Lord.
Do not grieve,
for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Last Sunday I attended church for the first time in two weeks.
It was a joy to be there.
I sung my heart out.
Coming out I enjoyed to greet other bretheran.
I was feeling great!
I got myself a cup of coffee...
Then I began to feel ill again..
It is quite frightening!
All I wanted to do was to go home.

I feel safe in the comfort of my own place.
There is a recliner to sit back in and put my legs up.
This facilitates circulation back to the heart.

Over the last thirty one years I have received healing for my heart many times.

Will I again this time?
I have been prayed for by many..

It's a problem in the heart electrical system.

STILL..
I laugh, and why not!
It's very good exercise for the chest and heart.

I will not grieve..
For the Joy of the Lord
IS my Strength.
Much love to all.

  1. Hi Crystal Mary,
I am praying for you. Can I put you on my church prayer chain?
Thanks for explaining this condition for not that it matters, but now I know how to pray for you.
May I put a prayer request up on my blog?

God Bless you sister and I am so happy you were able to make it to church.

  4. Hi. I just wanted to say thank you for posting this verse. It ministered to me after having a morning that was a bit challenging. :) I'm meditating on it..."Do not grieve for the joy of the Lord is your strength."
    Praying for you.

  13. You already said it in your post - so, I'll merely add my agreement, "The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength." I want to call you "Sweetie" even though we haven't had lunch together, in person - ever . . still, i feel we are great friends. I just want to point out how much stress is going on all around you. (You've been so generous to share with all of us how it is where you live.) All of this affects you, to be sure - I bet you are a spiritual mirror of the stress and heartbreaking sadness going on around you. God is Your help, God is Your strength, God is Your health - yep - God is Your Joy . . . I'm praying with you, and sending my LOVE,
    -g-

  14. Hi, my dear friend. I was just thinking about all the people you & I used to pray for together. Well now it's your turn to be prayed for. May your heart beat in unison with His, and may He walk in the cool of the evening with you.
    Love,
    Your friend,
    Chris x

  15. Hello Victor, Lovely to see you back brother.

Hi Georgy, Thank you and bless you.I act like nothing is wrong and so I feel better. Then I get up and do a bit and begin to feel faint once more. I know God is with me. Perhaps this is my time to, "Be still and know that He is God."

Hello Chris, My beloved long time friend. He has is arms around us both. AND... I bet we have given Him many a chuckle.
