"You Raise Me Up" by Celtic Women

A Very Special Verse of Wisdom and Encouragement.

  1. We got to hear Celtic Women live in Chattanooga a few years ago. They gave a wonderful performance! And the Bible verse is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting both.

  5. Lovely song. It was sung at George Best's funeral in Belfast, after his coffin was brought in past a piper playing his favourite hymn from Sunday School - "What a friend we have in Jesus". A good lesson for those of us who judge on the media image.
Hope all is well with you and yours, God's blessings.

  15. When my two kids were babies & just starting to learn to talk, I had them memorise this verse. It was their first memory verse. Then we progressed to Psalm 23. I figured I'm not always going to be around for them when they grow up but if they have God's word, it will sustain them in any situation. Thanks for posting this. My prayer for you is that God will send you His word and heal you. God bless you, sister in Christ.
