My Mother Playing Hymns

Spotted at GoTriCities.com: My Wifes Mother
(CLICK ABOVE)

Mum is 93yrs old legally blind, and currently unwell in hospital.

I recorded this on my last visit to see her in N.S.W..
She is a wonderful lady.
After playing the organ and piano for years
she had to give up, due to finger stiffening.
So now she plays her harmonica.
You will see a photo of her with her five children as I pass the camera around.
I am the child with blond hair standing beside her.
I was and still am, a mother's girl.
God Bless you Mum.xx

Ephesians 6:2-3
“Honor your father and mother”—
which is the first commandment with a promise
“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

  5. she is so precious. My father will be 93 in about 4 weeks. We are blessed beyond measure to have our parents into our later years. She touched me playing the old hymns, I don't hear them much these days

  7. This has just brought tears to my eyes too. My mother played piano all her life and the harmonica. At 93 just before she passed, she was still playing it. How I wished we could have a video like that.
Hugs and blessings to you dear and your dear Mum.
