You Raise Me Up and LON's Testimony

Walking through the darkness is not for a Child of the King,
and yet, Satan roams the earth, as a roaring lion, waiting to devour.
He hits in whatever way possible.
Often he does this through our thoughts....

But God's Word clearly says...
He, God, has not given us a spirit of fear!
What he has given us is,
A spirit of POWER,
A spirit of LOVE,
A spirit of a SOUND MIND.
2 Timothy 1:7 (King James bible)
(I prefer the King James version here, as it is not white washed.)

Let's rejoice in the fact that no matter what!
God does rise us up above all adversity.
Please read Lon's Testimony below.

  10. Hello Mary, so nice to meet you!! Nicer than you would think. Because I couldn't believe my eyes when I read your profile and looked at your blog!! We are very much alike!! I am a birdwatcher, and that kookaburra on your header is stunning!!! I actually drew in my breath when I saw it!! Also a Josh Groban video!! I have all his C.D.'s and he is my favorite singer!! Guess i'm not what they call a Grobanite, because I am too old!! Have you heard him sing "Lullabye"? We are Mennonites, My husband Phil is substitute pastor and head deacon and I am deacon and run the church's 24/7 prayer and information line, we also teach blble. In looking through your blog, I do love it!! I think we surely both have the same idea of using the blog as a Christian outreach, while having fun with it, also.

  14. Good Morning, sweet Crystal Mary!!

What a breathtaking surprise you have given to your followers!! You have given us the gift of Josh Groban Video singing with a children choir of Africa. Wooowww!!! I love the song, "Jesus raised me up to more than I can be." Awesome, Crystal!! You always come up with something beautiful from your heart of hearts, dear. About your previous post, I read it, and I may say that I agree indeed, that we are entering into the last times. If you read the last chapter of the Bible, "The Revelations Book", you'll find wisdom there. The Apostle Paul had a vision, a revelation. To him, it was the prophesy of the future. Yet to us, it is our present life. Amazing posts, Crystal!!
You've got so many followers by now.
Great job you are doing, sweetie.
    God keeps blessing you, Crystal!!
I am still praying for your dear mother.
All the Best. Until we write again...
    In God's Garden,
    Starry.

Would you like to visit my weblog which I created about 3 months ago?

My husband and I are Iranian and live in the UK. We love Jesus and our weblog is mostly about our Lord. Since we are Iranian we have added some Persian topics to the weblog, but you can read and watch English ones.

  16. Greetings to you Saints everywhere.
I wrote to each one of you in person, however, my computer chewed it up, so, since our God is in control of everything, He didn't want it read.
So, simply, God Bless and keep you all...in Him!

  18. Dear Crystal Mary,

Thank you for visiting me and your beautiful messages made my heart smile.

God has given me an unmeasurable blessing by our new friendship. God is good... and all the time!

You have quoted one of my favourite Scriptures here, and I needed the gentle nudge reminding me of this.

God does raise us up above all adversity. I am lifting my arms up, rejoicing and singing with you. This is the day, this is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it and be glad in it.

I love the You Tube video you've shared. I can't help but tear up when I listen to that song. The words really tug at my heart strings.

I have been reading the book of Habakkuk and feel very encouraged. I will be studying more in the coming days. I love to bury my head in my Bible and feast on God's Word.

I wish you a magical weekend filled with God's blessings!

With love and care from Kerrie. xOx

  20. Hi Natasha, I love this version especially with the little boy singing in front displaying his missing teeth..so endearing.
    The message is a strong one.Blessings x

Hi Kerrie, My mother is the old time Christian who loves hymns, yet she has requested this song at her funeral, I was so surprised! Whenever I hear it I picture a little boy riding on his daddy's shoulders..and that's just how it is, He carries us even when we don't realise.
Yes Habakkak...isn't it amazing that his book as written over two and a half thousand years ago, yet the prophesy is for now. It makes one humble, especially me. Have a great weekend yourself!! We will have a quiet one. Love Crystal xx

Wow ... I was very happy to see that was in my blog!

Hope you come back, I hope you find something in the soul can take with you!

I'm not sure what to offer beyond my poetry, I write all my heart.
I make my rhymes of a door to somehow not as objective to reach God.

I do not know the right side of the road, often nãoconsigo read the arrow. but having to discern right and wrong, and so far have been successful in my choices!

Bein a huge in Brazil and this pretentious new friend .. (smile)

We met in Alma or here!

  25. How wonderful!!! Thanks so much for this reminder about that prowling foe and for reminding how important it is to tell people about fabulous books we might have read! I was wondering what book it might be... I thought maybe the Bible... But Dr. V.P...he has helped so many people in the writing of this special book.
Blessings for a wonderful Sunday evening! :)
