Water/ Ocean Therapy For Stress.

Wandering down peaceful paths.

What is this??
Well, if you look closely you will sight a tiny hole in about the middle...
The hermit crab is responsible..
It burrows down and begins to work by throwing out these tiny sand balls.
The work is long and tedious, and the end result, is patterns of many different sizes and shapes all over the beach.

Who is the hermit crab? and what does he look like?

He is a tiny sea creature. He is pictured here in his conch.

I have been staying with my son in far north Queensland.
He has been suffering from sleep deprivation and stress.

So I took time out and went to keep him company and take the soothing love of Jesus.
We walked down a sandy pathway and out onto the peace of the ocean.
Just watching the waves flowing in and out.
                                Hearing the sea gulls, and smelling the sea air,
                                brings a feeling of wellness...
                                And rightly so..as you are breath in an extra atom of oxygen.

Getting away from the bunker, where life can be isolating.

Fish and chips down at the Marina..... with visiting relatives.

Streets of MacKay and Outback Jacks.

A town situated on the ocean to transport coal out of Australia and around the world.

I don't know how much my presence helped??
Yet I will contiue to pray for his well being..
Picured here he looks well.
Yet isn't always so.
Please pray for him to find that peace.

"Some went out on the sea in ships;
they were merchants on the mighty waters.

They saw the works of the LORD,

his wonderful deeds in the deep.

For he spoke and stirred up a tempest

that lifted high the waves.

They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths;

in their peril their courage melted away.

They reeled and staggered like drunkards;

they were at their wits’ end.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,

and he brought them out of their distress.

He stilled the storm to a whisper;

the waves of the sea were hushed.

They were glad when it grew calm,

and he guided them to their desired haven.

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love

and his wonderful deeds for mankind. "
 Psalm 107:23-32

  1. I am impressed with the hermit crab. That is a LOT of work!
    Praying your son feels better and peaceful real soon! Sleep deprivation has to be the pits. If I miss even an hour of sleep two nights in a row, I am miserable.

  2. Good Morning, sweet dear Crystal Mary,
    You have posted such gorgeous sceneries and landscapes in your pictures. I know the Ocean is great therapy for the soul, and it dramatically helps when one is dealing with stress. Mother Nature is indeed, a natural healer. You are with your son now, and that is a real blessing for him. The Lord may shine upon you, your dear son and family this day and forever, sweet Crystal Mary. I often think of you as an adorable child of God, and my precious friend.
    Prayers and Blessings,

  4. Hi Crystal! If Peter has never tried some of the natural sedatives like catnip tea and such, maybe he should give them a try. They aren't expensive and my sister swears by them. I'm still praying for him, as well as for you and ALL of your dear ones.

  6. Lovely post and photos. Is it possible your son has sleep apnea? I didn't know I did for years and never got much sleep. Sleep affects so many things.
    "Lord please guide Peter and help him to sleep with soundness and peace. Watch over him and give him health and keep him from danger. I pray too for rest for his dear mom. In Jesus' name I pray, amen".

  7. I pray that he will find his way through this struggle and start to enjoy life's journey again. I know that living that way is isolating and lonely at times..as Mr W has to live that way too..far away from all of his family..us! I am so glad that he's got a mum like you to care and understand.

  8. Hi CM, I know your son may not have sleep apnea. It was just a thought that came to my mind bc I have it. I do not fall asleep at inappropriate times in case that prevents you from checking into it further. It sounds though like Peter may be suffering from post traumatic stress. I pray he gets the help he needs. Sleep is so important to our healing. God bless xx
