Thank God for our food...Photo by Ray...
This next is not mine, but I wanted to share it with all of you.
WHAT HAPPENS IN HEAVEN WHEN WE PRAY? I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.
My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said,
"This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received."
I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.
The angel then said to me,
"This is the Packaging and Delivery Section.. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them."
I noticed again how busy it was there.
There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.
Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station.
To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing.
"This is the Acknowledgment Section, my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed." How is it that there is no work going on here? ' I asked.
"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments"
"How does one acknowledge God's blessings? " I asked..
"Simple," the angel answered. Just say, "Thank you, Lord. "

Today I thank God for my family and friends.
I thank God for taking time to listen to my partitions.
I thank God that even though I am ill, I can still type this out.
And I thank Him, the lover and acceptor of my soul.
This post has ministered to me, confirming through another voice from another continent and culture what God Almighty is saying to me in this season. Thankfulness... in everything. How it changes the spiritual climate over us.
ReplyDeleteSO true ... Crystal Mary... so true, how easy it is to forget, but the Bible speaks so clearly: In everything give thanks for this is the will of God... in Christ Jesus concerning you.
The above photo was a lot of fun - I wonder if it came from a real restaurant. Maybe not. Kangaroo... and camel... ?
Blessings to you dear friend. I am praying for your wellbeing and recovery.
Love
Lidj
Thank you for this -
ReplyDeleteWhat a great reminder -
love & love,

G'day Crystal Mary, Lovin' the photo of the menu list!!! Nothing beats our Aussie cuisine. Thank you also for sharing "What happens in heaven when we pray." - I have received this via email in the past. Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat menu was a bit unusual.
ReplyDeleteThe angel was kind of cute.
BUT THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING AND FOR FINDING CRYSTAL TOO!
All that I have is by God's grace. I don't deserve any of the fantastic things He has given me.
ReplyDeleteHello Lidj, Gld it spoke to you. Yes, that menu was official...and my hubby Ray loved the Buffalo...until the blokes teased him it was 'road kill' LOl. xx
ReplyDeleteHiya Gorgy, So simple and yet often forgotten. xx
Kerry sweetness, have missed you... xxxx

Bless you Joey. xx
ReplyDeleteHello Crystal.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the menu is simple but it tells us to be thankful that there's food to eat --- although I do not really eat crocodile, camel and kangaroo meat. :)
The story about the angels and your friend is nice and sad. Nice because your friend's in heaven, getting the chance to see how angels work for all of us and sad because people neglect a simple gesture - gratitude.
Whatever blessing I receive, big or small, I thank God for it. Sad that many forget to be thankful once they get what they want.
You take care and have a great weekend.
Hugs from Sweden. :)
I'll never stop thanking Him....He's the One who made all the difference for me....He's the One who gave me life.....beautiful post....
ReplyDeleteOoh, that one cuts deep. Remembering right now to stop and tell God THANK YOU for so much that he's given me.

Stop by and visit me!
I enjoyed reading your menu list ...quite different from any you would find in the USA..although I have heard of eating crocidile and buffalo ...but not camel but that is probably b/c we do not have a camel "season".
I too am a believer in love the Lord with all my heart ...took a look around your blog and saw the goodness of the Lord being exalted.
Thrilled to meet another Aussie Christian Sister...I met Lisa gosh I guess it has been since 2000 that we met online...I love her to pieces....I agree God is good always ...no matter if we are experiencing the pain and sorrow found upon earth ...prayer does change things as we lift our hope and gratitude towards our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ....have a blessed Sonday
What a important message here.
ReplyDeleteThank-you,
Ginger
The package and delivery section is so true.
ReplyDeleteWe seldom pause to thank.
Thank you so much for sharing this. Sometimes I get so stuck on the why's.. Why isn't He answering my prayers I'm sending up (when I already know why).. and I forget to look around and thank Him for all of the blessings He is always showering down upon me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder.
