I was amazed to see this bridge being constructed in China.
I suppose it is one way of getting from one place to another.
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
I suppose it is one way of getting from one place to another.
How safe does it look??
Many.... I for one, would never venture on this structure.
And yet how many other risks do we take in life??
And how many do we take with death??
I have a faith in Jesus Christ.
From what I have learnt, he was the only God who came to earth and gave His life.
His Tomb is Empty.
Was he a risk taker?
He gave His life so that we may gain eternal life.
How many people believe this?
For those who don't.... Where will they spend eternity?
Some believe in reincarnation?
I prefer the belief of a paradise in Heaven,
than a continual return to sickness and sorrow on earth.
I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.
They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Stairway to Heaven
Amen to that!
ReplyDelete"He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." Rev. 22:20
On the news this morning they showed the worlds longest sea road..connecting two cities in China..42 kilometres..I think!
ReplyDeleteNeed nerves of steel to walk on that. Rather take my chances on the stairway to heaven.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThis image is awesome, I just love your stairway to heaven. I have been thinking a lot about bridges too and did do a blog on them.
Take care and have a blessed weekend - Nita
Ain't no way this po' boy is gettin' on that contraption. I'll trust in God but not man's ability to build a rickety bridge of any kind.

ReplyDeleteAmazing bridge, Crystal.
ReplyDeleteIt is man made, and will surely be another feat of human engineering when completed.
It looks rickety, but surely it will serve a good purpose...
In contrast to the stairway to heaven (lovely picture, too!)... it is secure and guaranteed. All we need is put our full trust in the One who made it...
Thanks for this deep post!
Love

Amen, Thank God for Jesus, who is my bridge to eternal life:) Love that picture of the bridge.
ReplyDeleteThis is just amazing and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAmen!

You'll need a lot of faith in that Chinese bridge to cross it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty picture of the road to Heaven there at the end - and such a scary bridge to cross at the beginning!
ReplyDeleteOh my - - - that is the finished product of that bridge? My fear of heights just about kicks in by only looking at the pictures!
ReplyDeletePraise God for our Precious, Precious Jesus who loved and loves us so very, very much!
No way Crystal Mary am I getting on that bridge! Great point, if we have not received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are taking a much bigger risk.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
