These Nigerian Scammers are the most evil individuals, with hearts belonging to satan.
Since being hit by one myself,  I researched to find out more about them!!

I must say here, there are good and bad eggs in every race.
God Bless the good.
Shame, on the bad. God will deal with them!

And, even though they are called Nigerian Scammers, many fool others in believing they are from other countries of the world.
The one who attacked me, got into my Facebook and my email.
He (? a man) even spoke via messenger to one of my friends.
His place of origin, supposedly England.
Thank God, my friend knew I would never email asking anyone for money!!
I would rather wash dishes!!

How do I know he was from Nigeria??
Facebook showed me a map of the world, asking if I was located here....
Pin pointing,  NIGERIA!!

Watch out for E-Bay!!!
This is also a popular target.
If someone is buying off you.
Don't you...send any money for any reason!!!

MEN and WOMAN BEWARE of On-Line dating Scams.
Many of these are also from Nigeria.

 Romance Scammers
Seated waiting for a doctors appointment I read the true story of a woman in Australia who had the following experience.
The scammer, told her, he was from Milwaukee U.S.A.
His photo looked so nice... a regular bloke.
When he finally phoned her, his accent was American, and she believed all he told her.
He was very clever!!
Over time, for one thing or another, she handed over almost $100.000.
She even mortgaging her home.

INCREDIBLE you say?  Well, they are VERY convincing, sweet sounding and lovable.

There is no way anyone so NICE could be evil,....or so you think.

Dating Scammer Sign's To Beware of:

Their on-line profile may suddenly disappear when the dating site makes the discovery.
2. Sob stories... Scammers will mention a loved ones death or a sick child/parent, to pull at your heart strings.
3. Scammers will make excuses NOT to use a webcam.
4. They try to con you out of money.
DO NOT SEND!! they usually use wire transfer so it cannot be traced.

5. Check out the International Calling Code for any phone number you are sent!

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves.
Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves."
Matthew 10:16.

If you have had an experience... Please reply in comment!

I am going into hospital so won't be able to connect on here for a while.

  1. Oh indeed - I have watched and cautioned readers to be aware of these thief's posing as sheep. Facebook is full of scammers. I've had to good friends who accounts were hacked. One friend from California whose account was hacked messaged me with a sob story - he and his wife had taken a trip to Europe, were robbed, and everything they owned, luggage and all was taken. He asked me to wire him some money and I knew "immediately" this was a scam. I contacted my friend and he changed his p/w to something simpler then his date of birth. Good information and thanks for sharing. I never thought about Ebay being a place for Nigerian scammers but I'm sure it is

  2. Hi Crystal Mary,
I pray your surgery goes well and thank you for the information on scammers. I have had friends whose facebook had been hacked and someone sent out nasty e-mails in their name. One friend, it happened to like a day after he signed up to facebook. We must be aware. Thank you for sharing with us Matt 10:16.

  3. Yes it's very good information. Thanks for sharing!

  4. WOW!! It's unreal how people can be so mean and cruel and not have a heart. Thanks for sharing this info with me!!! Praying for your surgery and recovery...with little pain!!! Keep us posted when you can!!! In His Love...and with mine...Deb

  5. Thank you for sharing!!!

    Jesus loves us!!!

  6. I am so sorry this happened to you. But I am so glad that our God protected you through the whole thing!
Thanks for this information about scammers. I am so very careful and quite restrictive especially concerning my kids. They become frustrated with me because some of their friends have free range on the computer. :s

Praying for you during this surgery. You are in the hands of God.

    Praying and praying,

  7. Crystal Mary, hi. I work with these people here and sometimes the stories they tell about the successes of their friends and how much they admire them astounds me. There is a place here in Cape Town known as "Little Nigeria" A place riddled with drug dealers and scam artists. Yes, do be aware.
May the Lord hold you in his loving arms through your operation and may he always be there for you. Lots of love, Geoff.
Oh, by the way, I've closed my Facebook account because it was hacked.

  8. Thank you for the information and warning.

My prayers go with you as you get some medical help. I hope the rest will be healing.

  9. I am praying for you while you are in the hospital.

I recently received an IM on facebook from a friend who lives in Seattle. It was the in England on vacation and everything is stolen sob story. As soon as I asked a question that only my friend could answer . . . they went off line. Ah ha.

  10. Praying for you Crystal Mary. Thanks for sharing and warning us. God bless.

  11. It is amazing with how these people can attract others to believe them. I had seen a special news one time about this and it is sad that many fall prey. I'm glad you shared this info. Take care and God bless you sister.

  12. Dearest Crystal Mary, I am thinking of you and praying all goes well with your upcoming knee construction surgery. GOD BLESS! With love and care from Kerrie. xOX

  13. Thank you for all this information. I will careful on FB. I will be praying for you for a total healing.

  14. Just want to assure you of my prayers and those of our sisters. Many blessings!!

  15. In mid-April, someone hacked my friend's Facebook account and hit me up. Now, I don't normally "chat" on FB. I only do so with one friend, so for the most part, my chat feature is turned off. However, I had been chatting with that one friend (we pre-arrange a time), and all of a sudden, I got a "Hi, how are you?" from another friend.

First of all, I thought it was odd that she would be initiating a chat, because we're not super-close. But, also, I thought it was strange that she didn't greet me by name, just said "hi." But I didn't overly worry about it at the time, so I just responded back "Doing great, how are you?"

Her response, "Not too good right now."

Me: "Oh...sorry to hear that. Are you sick? Depressed about the weather?" (We're both Floridians living in Northern climates, and we HATE the cold.)

Her: "We're in London right now. Just came for a quick getaway. We were mugged at gunpoint last night. Jim (her husband) is hurt."

At that point, the chat cut off, and it never came back on. I was suspicious, because I was pretty sure they were NOT in London. She hadn't said anything on her own FB status, and a quick, impromptu trip to London would not be in their budget. So, I began to wonder if that "chat" was a hacker. I contacted a mutual friend, who I thought might know more information, and she relayed my incident to the gal.

Turns out, other friends had received a similar chat. Most others were requested to send money to help them out in London. Someone had hacked her FB, her email, and some other things. It was quite upsetting to my friend, because she had a password that wouldn't be easy to figure out.

All that to say, while the internet can be a great place since it enables us to connect with so many wonderful people, it can also be a very dangerous place. We absolutely HAVE to exercise wisdom and caution.

Blessings to you as you enter the hospital. Hope all goes well and that you'll soon be home and feeling good as new.

  16. Just recently, someone was using my Twitter account to promote their stuff...I hope changing my p/w will correct it.

  17. Thanks for the info, Mary. After reading a few of these comments, I'm going to go ahead and close my FB account--rarely used it anyway. Never had any expierence with any of these scams, have heard about them, though. For the life of me, I just can't imagine people falling for them--sending money???

  18. I can not believe how sick people are; praying for God to keep you from this kind of evil in the future.

  19. I have been approached by these ppl, and I have just ignored them.....Thanks for the info and thanks for visiting my blog.

  20. So sorry for you experience but yet it is through experience that we learn "theory" ... thankful you have not lost $1000000000 thanks for the heads up my dear sister

  21. Hi Crystal Mary -

I hope that you are feeling better. Of course, you are in the best hands, our Lord!

    Love that rainbow photo.

  22. Dear Crystal Mary, You have been on my heart. I am praying for you and eager to hear how you are doing. Thanks for the warning about the scammers. It is really scary, and we all need to be careful. They will one day be held to account for their evil actions. It is a shame we have to be so cautious, but we do.

  23. Dear Crystal, So sorry to hear you have been in surgery and trusting and praying you are doing well.
As you know I got the scam email but knew it would be a scam and only let you know. Did others receive it also, I do hope that no-one actually sent money, did you have any other feedback?
    With love, Jan

  24. Hi Crystal Mary, hope you are doing well. I am posting on this a little late. Such a good and informative post ... an important one.

Yes, I have had attempts to scam me. I had a guy trying to scam me out of money and a painting from my online etsy shop. I had viruses last year where "over $350 was stolen" from me ... that was the money I had to spend to get my computer fixed! Such evil out there and so cunning ... satan.
