Hillsong United - Nothing But The Blood
It's a beautiful sunny Sunday and I can't attend church until I am able to sit walk and stand properly.
But what touched me profoundly this morning was ...
the Power in Forgiveness
and
the Power of the Blood of Jesus to cleanse us of all our sin.
I need to forgive others, as Jesus has forgiven me.
There is so much power is forgiving...
It makes you feel so good.
I learnt to sing this song as a child....
Praise God for Sunday School.
Have a blessed day.

Late in 2008 I began to explore and enjoy the realm of creative writing. This is something which has always been an interest yet until now,I haven't found time to indulge.
God is the cornerstone of my home and heart. He is my life and my breath, for without Him I am nothing. My desire is to edify His existence in my daily walk through life. To inspire and encourage the broken hearted. And to assist in the knowledge that EVERYTHING has a reason and a purpose under the Heavens.
We are reminded through our faith in Jesus that He will, "Turn our Mourning into Dancing and our Sorrow into Joy." Psalms 30:11. Having personally experienced tough times I know, there is truly no gain without pain.

I suspect that you are still getting many prayers, Crystal. I know you're getting mine. And you're right about forgiveness.
ReplyDeleteI love this own hymn. I'm thankful that He shed His blood for someone as unworthy as me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a quick recovery.
Blessings,
Joan
We have a Hillside Methodist not five minutes from here - wish you were that close.

ReplyDeleteI love this post so much ...b/c I know the touch of His forgiveness and that it was b/c of His blood... His sacrifice.....that amazes me...and Crystal Mary.... I didn't know you weren't well. Praying you feel completely better
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you left a comment on my blog, yours is fascinating. What beautiful things you must see living where you do. My mom (84) just had a total knee replacement. Now, 4 months later, she is ready to do the other one. She's back swimming now, something she hasn't done in years. keep up the PT...saying a prayer for your complete recovery.
ReplyDeleteHaving had bilateral knee surgeries a couple of years ago, I cringed as I looked at the picture of your knee. You will be in my prayers tonight, sister!

ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful song. I know how difficult it is when you can't walk. For a year now I've had right knee problems. The doctors said it wasn't arthritis but now I'm beginning to wonder. I hope you heal up real nice and are good as new soon.

Hi Crystal Mary -
ReplyDeleteThank you for this message.
Oh! Glory for the powerful blood of JESUS.
We are justified by His blood.
We draw nigh by His blood.
We enter into the holiest by His blood.
We are redeemed by His blood.
We are cleansed from our sins by the blood of JESUS.
Oh Hallelujah!
