Those screeching Corella's flying in, in the hundreds.
My granddaughter Shiarny went wild shooing them out of our trees.
Our two little dogs ran after her barking.
The birds didn't go far, just onto the neighbours roof.
Watching and waiting for a chance to return.
I love to see them free.
Yet many are caged.
This one loves the Christmas Bush flowering tree.
(who is watching who?)
A beautiful bird, and a beautiful Bible verse.
Psalm 62:8
pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."
Selah
Wow- I had never seen this kind of bird before. Too bad they are so numerous they become a nuisance. They really are pretty-
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photography! The birds look lovely. Pity they squawk all the time.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well dear. Love and Hugs
June xx
Golly! You are simply the best.
ReplyDeleteWish those loud and lovely birds could visit my house. I'd be more than happy to have their company . . . (I'm another who has not, until your photos, seen birds like this . . . )
Thank you for the beautiful reminder from Psalms, You have begun my busy day in a most splendid manner.
love & love,

I have never ever seen or heard of a Corella bird. I just love that unique blue around the eye and the startling whiteness of the bird.
ReplyDeleteAnd who wouldn't love those trees!

Those are beautiful birds---very unique looking. That close-up shot portrays a wisdom to their character.
ReplyDeleteAustralia has some beautiful birds! And, I totally love that purple tree. I doubt it would grow in the Canadian north. :(
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

ReplyDeleteI am feeling a little bit sad tonight, due to the fact that some of my brothers and sisters in Christ have taken me off of their blog list, but I understand, seeing I was such a confused person like I was, when I grabbed hold of Satan's lies like I did. But I can assure you, and anyone else, that sees this comment of mine, that I will never depart from my LORD JESUS CHRIST . . . ever again!!! For my life . . . depends on HIM!!!
God bless!!!
Me again. I forgot to mention that I did some house cleaning on my two blogs and that I recently did my last post on my Dragon's Tea Cup blog, for I'm no longer in sink with the header of that name, now that I have returned to my one and only Lord and Savior . . . Jesus Christ!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce again . . . God bless!!!

ReplyDeleteG'day Crystal Mary, :) Just stopping by to let you know I was thinking of you. I really love this post! Lots of ooh's and ahh's from me. The Jacaranda Tree looks splendid and like you, I love to see birds flying free and not kept caged up. We have many beautiful trees flowering at the moment.
