Healed by Prayer

As many of you know I entered hospital last week with anticipation.
For a long time I have suffered with Left Bundle Branch Block.
This effects the electrical system of the heart.
It causes the heart rhythm to go out of sync.

Before my journey into the unknown, I asked my church to pray.
The following verse was read out from Gods Word.

" Is anyone among you sick?
Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.
If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:14-16

Well, in two days I am back home again and feeling very well!
My cardiologist informed me my heart is in wonderful condition.
Its like a new born babies heart, only, the size is my size.
He told me he was very surprised / shocked to see this.
Well he should be because he has know me now for four years.
My last E.C.G. recorded by him in his office, showed Left Bundle Branch Block.

The telemetry recording my heart the whole time I was in hospital, showed normal sinus rhythm.

There was a nine lead E.C.G. taken again in the hospital. but I was not informed of the result.

So now, as my knee improves, I will walk daily and loose some of the weight I have gained.

Many miracles happened on my trip to the hospital.
A young man needed money, so I gave it to him.
A man sitting next to me on my three hour train ride, informed me what station I needed to change at next.
After a second train ride I connection to the hospital.
Getting off the train, a couple, showed me the way to admissions.
When I got there, a huge Cross hung on the wall.
I prayed and asked the Lord for a room overlooking the brisbane river.
I got the room.
Next I prayed that the Angiogram, wouldn't be too uncomfortable.
It wasn't.
Then the doctor told me everything and gave his wonderful verdict.

Christ heals today!! Praise His Name!

I wish to thank all the staff at the Wesley Hospital Brisbane especially:
Kalinda and Lisa...
Wonderful caring thoughtful nurses.
The whole hospital was a valuable experience.
I am sure many agree.

  2. Mary, I am so glad to see your post so soon, and that you are back from the hospital and healed, Wonderful!!! We are having a series of Wednesday night bible studies on God's healing. So they had been going to operate, but then found you were healed and they didn't need to? This is very interesting to me, especially since my husband just had a stress treadmill test and was diagnosed with Left Bundle Branch Block. But they said it is harmless and about half of all people have it. Maybe Phil's could have been Right Bundle Branch Block, then? If there is such as thing?

  3. Hello Ginny, No I had the Left Bundle branch block. What the doctor wanted to make sure of was that none of my heart vessels were otherwise BLOCKED as this could cause added problems. They were not. In fact he couldn't believe how healthy they all were.
I do not need an ablation, or any other proceedure. I am thrilled.
He just told me that in time I may need a Pacemaker if my heart slows drastically down. Until then, I am fine.

  36. It was so wonderful to see your beautiful face on my blog. I'm so happy to hear your news. God performs so many miracles and you are one of them for sure. My niece was in a head on collision last week, a week ago tomorrow, to be exact and they were told she wouldn't make it. She's had two surgerys already and plenty more to go,Her bones are broken from her head to her feet. They did her feet today and wound up doing a Skin Draft.. only time will tell if she walks again but she is talking to them and lifting their spirits. Her mother said it is a Miracle from God..So many prayers, I have been praying for you to and God surely answered.. Blessings, Susie

  37. Crystal Mary: I am so pleased to read the news of your healing. Praise to our loving and mighty God. At our church, a woman suffered from migraine headaches for years. The headaches became so painful, she had to stay in a dark room almost constantly. She could not leave the house. The Elders in our church went to her house, anionted her with oil, laid hands on her and prayed. Her headaces went away! She has not had any migraine headaches for 3 years. I didn't mean to steal your thunder here, but I wanted to share what God can do.

  42. I am so glad you are doing well. Your visit reminds me of how God touched me after I had failed my cardiac stress test. As my husband waited with me for my angiogram, he opened up the Gideon Bible that was in the hospital room and it fell open on Psalm 27:14 (KJV) "Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say on the LORD!" ...Yes, I, too, was given a good report by the cardiologist. He is the LORD, our Healer!
