There's not much to tell about me...
I was born three days before Christmas, so my mother named me Crystal.
She thought it went well with our surname of White... and she still thinks this.
Have to love her...she meant well.
How I was teased at school and how I hated the full name.
I got, Snow White (my hair was blond), White wash, and Mary had a little lamb.
My second name of Mary was after an aunt and second aunt.
For the rest..... my testimony is:
"It's no longer I that liveth, but Christ that liveth in me."
Always: Forgive and Love others.
It heals you as much as them.AMEN AMEN and AMEN - Thank You Jesus. (I Love You So)
Crystal Mary White...what a lovely name.
ReplyDeleteOur names - after the gift of life, it's the second gift our parents give us. They try. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your name. How do you feel about it now?
What a beautiful name it is.. Congratulations on the award.. Blessings, Susie
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteMany of us dislike our names when we're younger... especially when we are teenagers. My parents wanted to name me Lars, after my grandfather, or Peter (his middle name.) My oldest sister, who was all of fivfe at the time, was madly in love with a boy her age in the neighborhood whose name was Jerry. She pestered my parents without mercy to name me after the love of her life, and they finally relented. My sister doesn't even remember this, but my parents told me how I came to be named Jerry. Maybe it was a blessing. I probab ly would have been called Lars a**.
ReplyDeleteI am glad White is not still tacked onto my name.
ReplyDeleteBut, my mother tells me they have now named a rose Crystal White, well, thats life.
Awe - you know what Crystal - short was better! love, sandie
ReplyDeleteYou have me smiling Crystal Mary, Your name is perfect and I think it's unique, special and as beautiful as you are! I love your testimony and what great encouragement you have shared to forgive and love others, which brings healing to us and them. AWESOME!!! I have to say I love the Goanna's hugging too - great photo! Have a blessed day. With love and care from Kerrie. xOx
