Sheep or Goat

Sheep trust, perhaps that's why Jesus said this:

"My sheep hear My voice,  Do you listen and hear from God?

and I know them,                   If so, then He knows you!

and they follow me."            This means willingly and joyfully~
John 10:26

Goats on the other hand, are obnoxious creatures...
They won't listen and they do as they please.

ARE you a Sheep or a Goat?
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.

All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left."
Matthew 25:31-33

The sheep will be kept.
The Goats left.

  1. Good post! BTW, Crystal, even though I did a review, please don't include me in your contest, I make a rule never to enter online contests or give or accept "awards" online. I'm an odd duck, you have to remember!

  3. Sometimes I have behavior of a goat ;-) But I know that I am, by grace, a sheep of the good shepherd. He teaches me to follow, over mountains and through valleys.

    Hug!

  8. What a lovely picture of these sheep. If you put a lot of different herds in a pen at night, come morning when the shepherds come to get them, each one calls. The sheep all go to their different masters, they know his special voice.

  9. Gorgeous picture of the sheep... I am a sheep ---or at least I try my best to be a sheep and not a goat... BUT--we are all human and sometimes I guess we do goat-like things!!!! But--if we continue to keep God at the center of our lives and do the best we can, I know that God will be happy with us, and all of our humanness...

    Thanks for a great post.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
