Thailand Pets and other Friends

I love animals and we were all set in this photo to go on the "Flight of the Gibbons.."
We saw a couple on the roadside, but otherwise, I think we were suppose to be the monkey's.
Harnessed up with the other ladies and all ready to go.
I chickened out..
It was so high up in those tree tops.
BUT, I met a lovely guide who sat and talked with me while we waited the two hours for the ladies to return.
His name is Gon.
Gon is 28yrs old and was very open to learn more about Jesus.
We had a lovely discussion and time together.
I believe God planned this.
Please pray for him to grow in Gods love and knowledge.

We went to see the elephants..

Elephant Art

Can you imagine elephants peddling along on bikes..and they seemed to love it.

A baby tiger drinks from a bottle.

New friend the lovely Cheryl, among the REAL exotic Macaw birds...

These may make you feel you are going potty?
Happy Pots.

Ray tried a car made of Pots.

will live in safety and be at ease,
without fear of harm."

  7. Good day Crystal Mary (no idea how to write that in Australian :))
I must say you look very uncomfortable in the before picture, no wonder you chicken'd out.
These are such interesting photographs, you seem to be having a whale of a time and I can just imagine Ray laughing like a little boy.
The elephant is so focused and the painting is amazing as are the pots.

Blessings to you, Ray and all your friends from Cape Town, Africa.

  12. Nice pictures! I LOVE any kind of high in the tree jungles! I believe I could very well live in a tree. ;P

What awesome art work that was done with those pots! Amazing. And the elephant!

Thanks for sharing a piece of your vacation with all of us, looks like you had a great time. I hope your knee didn't cause you too much pain. Praying for relief.

    1. My knee is a 'thorn in the flesh' but I am praying for healing. It keeps me humble.

  13. I believe wholeheartedly that God placed you there. Amazing what can happen if we just follow Him and allow His promptings.

  14. Hi Crystal,
I am glad that you have shared a slice of your special vacation.
The pictures look very nice, especially those with animals.
I am sure you had a great time there, Crystal.
    Welcome back home, sweetheart!!
Oh!! Thanks for posting your heartfelt comments in my blog, darling!!
It's always great to have you back, my dear friend.
Anyway, I'll be going away on my family gathering in New York by the Spring of 2012, if that is God's will. So, I'll soon be taking a long writing break, for I'll be devoting all my time with my dear folks.
When I say, if that is God's will, I mean that we all make plans for the future, but only God has got the final word...
God may always bless you, and those you love!!
    Big Hugs,
    Poet Starry Dawn.
