After the surgeon finished the baby's hand reached out to clasp his finger.
A tiny life...
How beautiful ..
How amazing.
Its almost as if the baby said, "thank you."
"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother's womb."
Psalm 139:13
Okay, as wonderful as the miracle is - that photograph with blood and guts is gross.

This is a beautiful reminder that life is life, in the womb or out. I love the thought that the baby is saying thank you. Melts my heart!
ReplyDeletei wonder what has become of that tiny one? How long ago was this taken?
ReplyDeleteIt's a first portrait i would want if it were me or of my baby.
How cool this is.
Thanks for sharing.

I love that miracle. sandie
ReplyDeleteI had not seen this... WOW--that is awesome. Oh the joys of modern medicine. I'm sure that baby was saying thank you.

This is an amazing photo. I have seen versions of it before, and I wonder if this is the same one. The baby must be big by now, and while he or she remembers nothing of it, I am certain the spirit will never forget - the new life, the new opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI also read your post about a boy named Ricky. Tore my heart to bits, Crystal. Beat the puppy to death, and shaved his son's head... after writing this comment, I will lift up that man named Ricky, but almost surely still a boy inside... abuse keeps them in a time warp, right? Let's only pray that he has found the Lord, and will have a place in heaven for all eternity.
Thanks for these posts, Crystal.
