I thought I was going to a book signing, but I had the wrong day.
So next I decided to buy myself a coffee and sandwich and just sit and enjoy.
Leaving the Cafe, I ran into two lovely friends from church.
"Come to the movies with us," they invited.
Much to my own surprise, I agreed.
I am not usually impulsive, I like to plan my day.
However, we all need changes and I needed one, so along with them I went.
The name of the movie was, The Way.
Some of you may have seen it.
Its a father's pilgrimage for his son, after his son has died. And I found lessons in the story.
It made me realise my journey here, on this page.
I had no idea when I first began to Blog, the many beautiful people who would journey silently with me, along the way. Yes, this probably means you!
I have met many, lovely dear friends:
Bill, also known as Beggar.... a healer of the body, soul and spirit, a lovely man who writes from the heart, sharing his journey through life.
Georges, also known as, Gorges Grouse, a fabulous story teller. Through him I see the backwoods and the lives of those, here now or gone forever, yet always remembered.
Penny, is a faithful servant to all.
Sandie, is a chatty crone who makes you laugh away your worries.
Shelley, another great story teller, who weaves the finer things of life into a lovely tale.
Esther Joy, paints rocks to show Gods love for others, and her love for Him.
Georgy, imparts a gentle message through a few words and gives a visual understanding of Gods love.
Dee and Dee, two sweet special ladies who at times, hold my heart and hand.
Susie, who lovingly writes her thoughts into poetry.
Mary, is as gentle as her name and kind in nature.
Janet, the walk gets difficult for her at times, but she continues on and we hold hands in unison.
Debbie, a soul seeker and searcher... wisdom is in her words.
Joy and Joy... Yes the Joy of the Lord, IS, their strength.
Betsy, takes us all along on her travels and imparts love into every aspect of the journey.
Jedediah Your gentle ways sooth like salve and heal those who read your words.
Kim You like to see, the bright side, because your heart is in the right place.
Lon. Many walk with you, you are never alone.
If I have missed you out? I am sorry. You are all so dear..
Thank you for picking up your swag, and coming Waltzing Matilda (walking close to my bosom) with me.
"Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely."
Psalm 139:4
