Dear Crystal, thanks so much for letting me hear how a kookaburra sounds. Maggie--one of the cats with whom I live--was lying next to the computer and was startled by the sound. Ultimately she got up to look behind the computer to see if she could pounce on that bird! No luck. Peace.
