On Eagles Wings..

How many of you are winding down from the year, and getting ready for Christmas?
It has been a busy 2013 for me and I feel weiry.
My body is slowing down and I am not able to run and work as I once did.
I look back and reminiscence and can't believe I just came through all those modules in Bible College. Gee it was hard work, there was so much to learn but I have loved it.
My Pastor asked me if I would return and complete the Diploma next year.
But the hardest part for me was sitting in a hard chair for hours on end.
My back hurt and made me feel ill. I wish I had done this course years earlier when my memory was sharper and I could balance the study and my work at home with ease..

I hate to do nothing next year, so I may do the Diploma part-time, I am still weighing it up in my mind.
Are you like me and just devour learning?  I thrive on it.
Now I must pray and ask God, "please show me what I am to do next?"
I am reminded of that verse....
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40;31

Happy Christmas to all from The Land of Oz...
Lets look to God for our future.....and shine His Love on all.
                                                  Have a BLESSED CHRISTMAS.

  1. Maybe what you need to learn is 'rest'. I have been thinking about that myself. I am always so busy.I feel like I don't know where or what I'm doing!!!

  5. Merry Christmas to you, also, Crystal,

The Lord will put it in your heart where to go with your studies. I couldn't sit all day, and my short term memory is very short-term. I don't have the immediate recall that I admire in others. But the Lord doesn't see that. You would think he would see my short-comings but He is greater than my weaknesses and still says, "Follow Me". What an awesome God! He knows your physical difficulties, yet, it is you He is calling.

  6. Hi Crystal, sweet dear friend,
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments in my blogs,
and your lovely emails, darling! I highly appreciate your loving ways.
I can easily understand how you feel about this subject matter. I also feel weary with intense fatigue, among other health issues. I am forgetful, for I don't remember many things the way I used to.
Crystal, you told me that you would finish your Diploma in February of 2014. I thought you would GRADUATE at that time. But now, it seems like it will take a longer time to get YOUR DEGREE. Well, it's up to you what you really want to do with it, whether you will preach, teach, be a Church Leader, Pastor, and so on. In any case, the LORD WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY... Just put all your worries in God's Almighty hands, and He will turn your life into golden blessings. May I ask you a question? Do you need to study another full year to get your degree or diploma?
I just wonder. I thought you would only take one year to complete your degree, since you are already a College Graduate, a Registered Nurse. It's a good idea to study Part Time, but it will take you much longer to complete your full degree. Well, it's all up to you what you really need to do, or you can do. I know Ray needs you by his side to spend more time with him, and to take good care of him. I am also weary with intense fatigue. I am unable to sit at a classroom on a hard chair for many hours, because I'll end up with stiffness in my muscles, and much pain in my backbone and neck. I also get dizzy and confused when someone talks in a loud voice, or start asking me questions, or demanding me to complete a written test in one or two hours. I am an old lady now. Teachers are mostly folks younger than me, and I do NOT like to follow orders. When I was 18, long ago, I entered the Law School Overseas. I wanted to become a Lawyer, an Attorney. I studied for over 4 years. I was on my way to get my College Degree. But, something dreadful happened at that time which prevented me from doing what I really wanted to do. Then, my life changed from upside down, and I decided to leave all behind to start a new life elsewhere. If I had stayed there, I would have been killed...
I guess the Lord showed me the way at that time to save my life. Jesus rescued me. So, GOD had another MASTERPLAN FOR MY LIFE. Therefore, I followed His plan, and I changed my life forever. Looking back, I used to have a great memory. I loved reading and learning new things. Later on, I studied English as a Second Language for a few years, but I never completed all the courses to obtain a College Degree. However, all these things gave me inner wisdom. Now, at my old age, I am a grandmother, I just take one day at a time, for tomorrow is not promised to anyone. God will show you the way, and you ought to wait for Him to reveal Himself to you, Crystal. Capisce o non capisce niente?...
Buon Natale per lei, maritto, la sua figli, bambini, nipotti, familie e amici!
Io ti voglio benne, mia cara amici!! Tu sei piu bella, e figlia di Dio.
Merry Christmas, & Happy New Year to you & loved ones!
    God bless!
    Warm Hugs,

  7. Hello dear Starry, as usual you put me to shame with your wonderful long message. I have completed a Certifucate 1V in Theology, and graduate with that. However, if I wanted to, I could complete another year for a Diploma.. The study is very hard as you can imagine, those Bible names and comprehending the message behind what is written in the Bible. For instance... The Wisemen came to see the baby Jesus.. we don't know how many came, we are told they brought 3 gifts.. and also, they didn't visit Jesus as a babe in a manger as we sing in our Christmas carols but rather came when he was in a home, so we know he was under two years old because Herod sent hid soldiers to kill all the infants of 2yrs and under.. The wisemen bought 3 very rich gifts that would have kept the Holy family looked after for many years. So God was instumental in the finacia care of his son. Its all written in the N.T. but we tend to look past what is there... God bless you and Paul with a Happy and peaceful Christmas. With love Crystal xxxx

  9. Dear Crystal, I hope you had a peace-filled and restful Christmas and holiday season and that 2014 brings you many opportunities for growth in the human spirit. Like you, I love to learn and this year I'm reading books about World War I. I'm also going to work on completing my memoir and I'll look for an agent to represent it. So the year seems filled with possibilities for me. I hope for you also. Peace.
