I NEED A MIRACLE

I am brought before the judge...

He looks at me with a stern face yet with sad kindly eyes.

"You knew the law, and yet, you chose to break it!"

"But your honor, what did I do, I don't know what I did!"

The judge turns to the court official. "Play the evidence, she needs to understand for herself."

A large screen is erected so that everyone can view it. With shame, I look and see myself as a

school girl. The words from my mouth are, "I hate my mother." (Oh no! did I say that?)

All of my life flashed before me on that screen. Times when I lied, took a pen that didn't belong to me, loved a man to the extent that God came last.

So many things that I did wrong - made me hang my head in shame.

"Yes, I did those things Lord, all of them." I barely whispered.

"You did," he bangs his gavel, "and the penalty, for all these crimes is death. You must die!!"

My heart drops, what can I do?    Nothing!       I deserve all that I get!

I stand still and wait to be sentenced, with terror striking my heart.

THEN A COMMOTION IN THE COURTROOM.

A Man strides in. He is glowing, illuminating peace and love to all around.

He is my defense.

"Judge, she is saved by my GRACE. I have taken the penalty for her crimes because of her repentance to me for them. I have forgiven her."

Putting his arm around me he smiles and asks. "Do you know who I am?"

"Yes Lord," I reply. "You are Jesus my Saviour and you have set me free."

Sin is sin and all sin is the same. To steal is as bad as murder. To put anyone up higher than God in your life is a sin.

Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO man cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME." John 14:6

A 1925 Paris Model ------ PRICE REDUCED TO 0.99CENTS

Who doesn't love the exciting Roaring Twenties?
This time in history became known as the Golden Age.

Following world war 1, the people of France desperately looked for ways to become happy again. New ways of thinking were emerging not only within France but the rest of the world as well.

Paris was becoming known as the city of love as everyone enjoyed life, free from the destruction of war.

People began to venture out into the open even on weekdays, something not very traditional in other cultures across the world.

Their range of activities included going to the opera, the circus, music halls, the visual arts, watching artists painting in the streets, and listening to poetry.

France was leading the world with personal identities labelled as being forces of history.

And so my fictional story of one such person begins, the story of Treasure.
1925  -  1932

The Parisienne Fashion Houses of 1925 are dismayed when one of their famous models disappears. She seeks to uncover hidden secrets and determine the meaning of her destiny. The only way she can do that is to leave the glit and glamor of Paris far behind.

Resembling another time and another place, the Australian Outback whisper’s its love song tugging this young woman back to its magical terrain where her soul seeks its desired fulfillment.

Treasure Gilroy journeys to the beautiful Vision Valley town of Glen Arbour on the other side of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Outback Australia. Her special friend, Ella, a French hair coiffeur travels with her. There is a mysterious déjà vu connection between the two that will come to light surprising both.
Treasure meets Connor Latham, her grandmother’s lawyer and a returned World War I fighter pilot. Both feel an instant attraction and their passions fire.

Connor’s pride and stubborn determination in who he now prevents him from following his heart.
Treasure feels confused until she learns Connor’s reasons and reluctance.

She gains distressing insight's into past family secrets and the finds out the unknown truth about her parents.

For a woman knowing nothing about the saving grace of Jesus - Treasure discovers his personal love and FREE gift for her.
