JUST JESUS..

Apparitions..

Can you believe how Satan will use someone you love, to deceive you?
This was an experience of mine approximately eighteen years ago.

My teenage daughter went out to a rare party with friends.
It was rare as we were strict parents.

"Be sure to be in by midnight,"  I instructed as she left.
I couldn't sleep and as many anxious parents do, my ear's strained, listening for her return.
Footsteps echoed on the tiled hallway floor.
Thank God she was home!
She ran happily to my bed and kissed my cheek, then out of the room.
Breathing a sigh of relief I sank into the mattress and fell into a peaceful sleep.

Hearing a noise in the kitchen a few hours later, I got up to investigate.
Stunned,  I discovered, my daughter had JUST come home.

I can't remember what her late excuse was, I was too befuddled by my earlier experience.

"Are  you sure you didn't come home earlier?" I questioned!

I thought I had experienced my daughters joyous return home?
I thought I had experienced her happy goodnight kiss?

What I did experience was a deception..
And there is only one deceiver....Satan!

"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light."
2 Corinthians 11:14

"Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'"
Matthew4:10

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Ephesians 6:12

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"
1 Timothy 2:5

If you want to argue....
there can be no BUTS...
There is only Jesus.

To demonstrate our total faith in ONLY Him, we do as instructed.

And Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38

  1. You know what they say, "All's well that end's well!" Haven't noticed a lot of online activity from you lately, so have been praying for you in case anything is wrong. Better safe than sorry. Bless you.

  2. Yup, Satan's a pretty ruthless and tricky little XXXX. He finds a weak spot. He employs loved ones to deceive loved ones. He is always present. But, pay no attention to him and focus completely on Jesus.

Thanks for your wonderful story. God bless!

  3. Hello Gorges, Yep, Life has been a burden this last week..I had 5 days of straight driving to help my helpless mother. Its in Gods hands now, and I know it will go forwards not backwards. Thank you for your prayers..much needed and much appreciated.

Hi Clint. You are so right. And this last week I have been seeing the evil one at work in someone I have always trusted. We have to always, keep our eyes on the lover of our souls. Thank you.

  4. I've been wondering about you too, praying blessings and peace over your precious mother and you!

I've never had an experience like what you described, though...I think that would freak me out, lol!

I have a question, though... judging by the peaceful sleep you experienced after this encounter, do you think it was a demonic apparition? Whenever I've experienced demonic disturbances (I've had a few) peace does not come until the name of Jesus is applied and they are rebuked. Usually the presence of a demon would bring with it an unsettledness, know what I mean?

    What do you think?

  5. Going through a spiritual battle within my own family in 2003, where a SIL was involved in a cult, I know what you mean how the enemies use our loved ones to deceive us. Things like even copying their voices over the phone..But through this experience, I thank the Lord that He had shown me how truly powerful His wonderful Name Jesus is...that by saying it, enemies cower.

May the Lord bless you sister and protect you and your family. That's a nice picture of your daughter's baptism. And what a wonderful testimony it must have been to others in your family. Be strong in the Lord's mighty power.

  6. This truly is a great post. Just recently I have begun saying "Oh it's just you get out of here" when I think Satan is at work. I am working on taking his power away; he is less than.

  7. I think that anyone who has had teenagers to raise can relate to what you have said. By God's love and mercy they all seem to grow up and most will become responsible adults. Satan is the master and father of lies and his attack on Christians can come at any time of the day or night. Good post. God bless, Lloyd

  8. You know I have had experiences like that and I guess I am not so bright - I never thought about them being from the devil - I would think it was just a dream or something - gee you think a lot deeper and better than I do! Thanks for the insight.

  9. Hello Kimberley, Just think,a stranger offers a child an ice-cream and asks them to go with them. The child feels happy and peaceful, what harm could there be?? yet later, that stranger who seemed so nice, abuses and murders...Satan APPEARS as an angel of light...God is not faulse.
In my case I believe the Lord protected my daughter from any evil. And He brought her safely home. When I saw her in the kitchen, my heart was in my throat realising the deception.
Be ever vigulant my child, satan roams the earth waiting to devour..xxx

Oh Rose, this must have hurt and confused you so much at time. Dear friend, I believe the closer we are to Him, the more we are tempted by satan. His hands are off those he already has fooled. much love sister. xx

Hello Doreen, lovely to meet you. I laughed as I read this...it reminds me of Smiths Wigglesworth, he used to do the same..I don't always recognise the deceit straight away, but as soon as I do I speak out the Word of God against it, just as Jesus did.Blessings to you.

My Way, I will do that and thank you. God Bless.

Dear Lloyd, yes satan sure is a master at what he does, and even fools the elite at times. God Bless.

Hello Sandie dearest sister, I suppose my training also makes me very aware... another thing, watch for smells, The Holy Spirit gives a lovely perfume when no one and nothing else is around. Evil, sends a bad smell, it also makes the skin on your neck and back prickle.... doesn't happen often, but it does happen. Love ya. xx

  15. It is good to remember that Satan sometimes disguises himself as an angel of light. We have to be on the alert and discerning. So glad the story has a happy ending. Your daughters baptism pictures are beautiful.
