And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda ~ John Williamson

Today is a special day.
It is the 11-11-11. and November the 11Th is the day we remember
the Great War, W.W.1.
Please listen to the song.... its a bit rough, but so is war.
So in memory of all service men and women....
My own grandfather Samuel WW1, father Arthur WW2, and hubby Ray Vietnam War.
God Bless them all.

"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen, but the end is still to come."
Matthew 24:6

  1. What a special tribute to our veterans. Thank you for all your precious comments on my blog. I HOPE that we can go the journey of getting healthier together. It's a struggle...especially the older I get!!! Praying for you, sweet friend!

  2. I don't think I have ever heard this song before, it is also in a waltz tempo, how awfully sad! Thanks so much for telling me all about your stork, I didn't know any of that and it was so interesting! We have never seen a real stork, and this one looks like the most brilliant and pretty of all! I hope you are alright, what kind of surgery are you having and how long will you be in the hospital?

  3. I am to have an angiogram (cardiac catheter). A camera is threaded up through the groin and the cardiologist can look around inside the heart. I believe this is uncomfortable as I will be awake.Doing this, the surgeon will then know if he is to operate and how? I will be in more than 4 days, thats all I know. Thank you all.

  4. Hi Crystal Mary,

This is a sad song, but so true. I am so thankful for the men and women who fought in these wars. By the sounds of the news, the next bit of wars will be even more uglier then the past ones.

    Blessings,
