Rejoicing in Jesus

So sorry, 
I am still unwell and can't be bothered much with anything. 
Whatever happens, I am in the Lords hands and what could be better?

Its raining on and off and the Galah's come flying in making a great noise.

My granddaughter Kirra and her hubby Benj are over in Thailand for a few months.

Kirra teaches school with Destiny Rescue and Benj works with his kick boxing. 

Benj is the Australian Thai Kick boxing champion.

                            No, he doesn't box these ladies.

Philippians 3:7-10 

^"But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.     What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ  and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—                      the  righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.                                                  I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death."

There is a beautiful hymn based on these words. Last week I began to feel sorry for myself and cry. Then this song we sing in church came to mind. I began to sing it and since then God's peace and contentment has taken over.
