Someone says something to you. You are unsure of their meaning? The more you think and ponder, the more you are certain that what they said was meant to be offensive.
It may not be at all, but it you think it is, then it can lead to wrong feelings.
Perhaps your life has been hard and hurtful.
Maybe your dwelling in your mind about this and forever feel miserable.
God can hear our thoughts. Matthew 9:4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, "Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?"

Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he!"
