Christ Sacrifice for US..

Could you volunteer to die in place of another?? 

Jesus didn't just die in place of all the wrong others did and we still do

His death was shocking. Whipped with leather cords that were entwined with glass.

The flesh stripped from his back and wherever it pounded His flesh. 

He took the our guilt with much pain, because of His love for mankind. 

He was an innocent person, who only did good for everyone all through His short time on earth. 

He healed the sick and gave freedom to us through His sacrifice and His suffering. 

I can't begin to imagine, how terrible this was.

Easter is often a time that the unbelieving go away for respite, enjoyment, and celebration. 

For those who believe, its a time of pondering and feeling thankful. 

The PASSOVER. The night before He died, Jesus gathered with His disciples to celebrate a Passover meal. I knitted a long strip of red to hang off my verandah in memory of this.

(The Passover is commemorated for the night that the Israelites were to run from the Pharaoh in Egypt. They painted blood over their door posts, for the angel of death to pass over them. That same angel, killed all of the Egyptian young. This was done to show the might of God against Pharaoh forcing him to let the enslaved Children of Israel, Gods people, leave.)    

 The next day, Jesus was brought before Herod and accused by the Jews. He was tortured, then led to a hill named Golgotha, to be crucified. Two thieves were crucified with Him, one on either side. The one on the right side, acknowledged him as Lord, and would go to Heaven. The one on the left didn't and would go to hell. 

Like those thieves on the crosses. We have a choice. Believe in Jesus and all that he did for us and go to Heaven at death. OR, ignore him in your short life, turn your back and go to hell. 

YES, life on earth is short... compared to eternity in either HEAVEN or HELL.. 

If you don't know much about Him, purchase a New Testament and learn. No one knows the day or the hour of their death, there is NO bailing out at the last moment. No being sorry that you didn't understand or have time.....  So wake up and repent today. 

I have a large family. due to distances and obligations, we get together as able. Here are my two son's and some of my grandchildren, together in the Lord, for a Resurrections Day evening meal. One of my daughters took this photo. My elder son presided at the head of the table, and prayed a blessing over us all.

OVERJOYED living in SENSATIONAL Queensland

I am sharing where I live.  The most delightful place on earth. Our State slogan is: beautiful one day and perfect the next. 

My home is a typical timber Queenslander, built on stilts to withstand the weather. 

The underneath is 12 feet high and the same area as the house above. Enclosed with a wooden fence, this keeps intruders out and allows air to circulate. 
All house windows and doors are fly screen covered and mostly kept open summer and winter. 

Living in the sub-tropics means pleasant weather all year round. It can become very hot in summer and currently with little rainfall we conserve water. Yes, we are actually in a drought and scary bushfires abound. 

We have two water tanks to the topside and back of the house and these help with garden watering. 

This is a country town surrounded by various plantations of Mango, Pawpaw, Citrus, Bananas, Advocado, and a variety of Berries plus Vegetables. 
Our own Mango tree in the backyard stands some thirty feet tall. 

One of our water tanks is visible here, as is the undercover clothesline. I NEVER use a clothes drier. 

We have an abundance of birds that my American Hubby likes to feed.. 

Here are but a few, the Rainbow Lorikeet is on the feeder with the white corella cockatoos further back on the ground. 

A Kookaburra watches from our tall pine tree. 

The Lorikeets also eat from our native bottle brush trees. 

  The Pacific Ocean at Rainbow Beach is only 74 kilometers or 46 miles from us. Hubby loves driving along the sand. It goes for 380klm (236 miles). 

How big is Australia?? 
About the same size as the USA. Tasmania is left out of this. 

Compared to Europe: 

 I LOVE that we don't have borders for illegals to cross. 

In the year 1606 Capt. Pedro Fernandez de Quiros gave this continent (country, Island) the name “Australia del Espiritu Santo” or literally “Southland of the Holy Spirit”. 
He took possession of the land, in the name of Jesus.

Evil Can Look beautiful

Do you know that there is a beautiful side to evil??

YES! the devil can appear as a beautiful angel of light, looking so wonderful on the outside that many are deceived.

Yet its the heart that matters, and we can't see that.

Only God can.

Narcissistic Personality Disorders are on the rise.
What are the primary traits of such people?

Firstly: they love themselves before all else, even above their children.

"For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy." 2 Timothy 3:2    K.J.Bible

Secondly: The have a grandiose opinion of themselves.  They expect to be first and foremost in everything.

"For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you glory, as if you had not received it?" 1 Cor 4:7

Outside beauty with a poisonous heart.: 1 Peter 3:4-6 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
These people do their best to make you feel good in the beginning, and then 

Cleverly, they make you feel everything you do is stupid, or wrong. If you remain with them long enough you will loose your identity and all self esteem. 

Woman get away with this more than men because the law believes they are the abused one.

Unless the law is taught differently, men will mainly be the victim.

What of the children??? They are dressed beautifully to impress. Given toys and many photos taken to display the falsehood of happiness.

Yes, Beauty is not always what you see.
