THE BEAUTY OF HEAVEN

From the many people who have known an Out of the Body Experience they have all stated,  "Heaven is more beautiful than we humans can imagine."

Those who have visited that Ethereal place and returned to tell of it, repeatedly confirm, they never wanted to return to their life on earth.

Heaven is the place everyone desires to end up, when their life on earth has ended.

And they will, if they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savour.

NO..... not everyone will go there. And you don't get there by being a good person.

"FOR by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" Ephesians 2:8.

You can't fool God, because he knows your heart. He knows if you are pretending or putting on a show. You have to be genuine.


How does the Word of God (Bible) describe this eternal happy place?  Revelation 21 by John

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
¹¹ Having the glory of God: and Heavens light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

¹³ On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

¹⁵ And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

¹⁶ And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

²³ And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

One day our body will die.

Our Spirit and Soul will go to either Heaven or Hell.

LIVE FOREVER

We all have a choice. I choose Jesus who gave his life for me.

John 3:16 is a verse many know - yet have you ever really thought about the words?

For GOD so loved the world - That He GAVE His ONLY Begotten son.

That, whosoever BELIEVES in HIM - HAS ETERNAL LIFE.

YES! we NEVER die ..  There is no such thing as death when we truly understand this.

Christians, those who believe in Jesus and what God has done for them, never die!!

Yes, this earthy body goes into the grave, or wherever.

But, our spirit (created in the image of God) and our soul (us, our personality) go to paradise, a beautiful place that God has prepared for those who return His love.

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 

14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it

New Years Day In The Sun

After all the rain it is a thrill to have the sun back and shining.
Too much of any particular weather pattern can be too much.

We took our time driving back to Queensland from New South Wales.
Along the way we stopped off at Corinda for a break and a stroll.

                    I love the blueness of the Pacific Ocean. (Facing south)

The children are on their Christmas vacation.
So famillies camp on the hilltop.
Everyone enjoys a relaxed happy time.
(Facing East)

One holiday maker informed me of a family of dolphins which reside here and swim with those they trust.
He had the pleasure of a baby dolphin accompany him that morning.
(Facing North)

A seagull looks for tit bits and keeps a close eye on me.

What a beatiful world we live in.

I live near a busy main highway were fatalities take lives on a regular basis.

Who will be next? Who can tell? If we knew, people would take better care.

Who wants to end up with injuries, brain damage, in a wheelchair or worse.  

No-one knows the day of the hour of their death!!!

Yet many think they can live as they like, with no repercussions.

NOT SO....

Who can safely drink and drive?

Who can speed when no one is looking and ALWAYS get there faster?

Having been an Emergency Room Sister, I know only too well, the disaster of such a mentality.

Recently this was placed in our local newspaper.

A sign depicting what can happen if you don't take care.

Do people take note of these signs? 

I hope and pray it makes them think!

Because.

More fatal accidents happen in the holidays, than any other time.  

WARNINGS,  WARNINGS

Does anyone heed them?

The next sign is asking parents to watch their children.

Why should there be such signs?

Because whenever anything happens to a child, the parent says,

"I thought they were with so and so."

What!!! Responsibility is that of the parent!

Not someone else. 

SIGNS..................

 And here is the most important sign of all time.

ONE WAY......There is ONLY one way to Heaven, the place everyone wants to go to at death.... 

YES, many may be smart and jokingly say they don't care!!!

But death is no joke,  it can't be taken back,  it is final!

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?”
John 11:24-25

Jesus asked the question.
"Do you believe this???


I ask it also.....Do you?

Heaven Sent.

In the middle of New Zealand's south island, stands this beautiful old stone church built in 1935, as a memorial to the pioneers of the Mackenzie County.
The area was named after James Mackenzie a sheep farmer and thief who derived from Scottish ancestry.
The church adorns the shore of Lake Tekapo amidst farming outlets and unused land.
Walking within the walls your eyes are pulled to the huge Altar window displaying a picturesque view of water, mountains and sky. 
Spell-bounding.... this is Gods headpiece of living art
Congregations of the three main faiths worship here regularly.
It is the most photographed church in New Zealand. 

So is the church itself the important place of worship?

In John 4:19-24 we read about the woman who met Jesus at the well..

"Sir,"  the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet.

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem."

Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

PARADISE

The beauties of this earth are immense....
Yet NOTHING can compare with Paradise.

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined! 
What God has prepared for those who love Him."
Corinthians 2:9
