I liked Forbidden Fruit Temptation for many reasons. I found Crystal's writing style engaging and the story held my interest all the way through.
Crystal, obviously has a lifetime of medical and nursing experience and it shows through the details in Forbidden Fruit Temptation.
The story flows smoothly and even the hospital scenes are treated with great dignity.

I lived and worked in one of the states for a short duration and my husband took me to see many of the others. Oh so interesting.....

I have begun writing about these area's and learning much of the customs and lifestyle.

This story "House of Shadows" revolves from Louisiana to North Carolina in the 1902 timeline.

The civil war was still a strong point with old survivers. Gracious living, good manners and hospitality prevailed.

Travel over water involved Steamboats or Paddle Steamers.

I don't map a story out.

I don't work out my characters prior the story. 

I don't have an office to write in.

I don't set times apart to write. 

What I do.

I begin to write and the story unfolds itself as do the characters. 

My hubby has taken over the office, and its a mess. 

So I write on a lap-top while sitting in my recliner. 

(I haven't been well for a long time)

I count my blessings, I praise God and talk or sing to him constantly.
